Great fresh assortiment, everything is delicious, even the standard croissant is heavenly. Self service, worth while waiting for a spot. Great prices. Open kitchen. Cosy interior with a wall of plants.

Unsure about their bread, which seems to be a favorite and star of the show at Baluard. However their pastries were pretty underwhelming. We tried the matcha chiffon cake, which was overly sweet with a lack of matcha taste. The cake was dense though, which...More

We thought this would be so much more expensive for what it was! 10 euros for breakfast for two (with coffee)! Everything was SO good, sandwiches, pastries. Highly recommend.

Hello I am from Germany and I’m here for making holidays. I searched for a bakery and I found Baluard. The prices are good for what you get. The food is very delicious and the ambiance was really nice. I can really recommend that!

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

I would think ´no´. The place is a real bakery so everything seems filled with butter, milk, gluten etc. Diet items are also not the order of the day, to my best knowledge. 😃
