Fabulous gelato in Barcelona. Flavorful and a very generous portion. We had "After Eight" which is the same as mint chocolate chip. Incredible!!!!!!

This place has some of the best gelato anywhere. If they have the Sapphire Gin & Tonic try it. The After Eight is good too. Its right off Las Ramblas & Plaza Real in a very touristy area but worth a visit, especially if you're in the area.

We ordered cheese cake, mango, strawberry, nutella and ferrero rocher. They really tasted Italian. I felt as if I am im Rome. I highly recommend all the flavours I mentioned but the least of them is ferrero which was nice but nutella was nicer. I highly recommend.

Gelateria Giovanni was my son's favorite. We went back a second day for another waffle cone gelato. He has some allergies and we were able to find him a gelato he could eat here. The gelato tasted wonderful and made great memories for us!

The best waffles in Barcelona! If you are not so sweet, go for the "bikini" classic homemade sandwich made with love and butter of course! The dominican girl who prepared it for us was really kind and she melted the cheese like in movies!!! Really kind, nice and patient!

For service alone this place deserves 5 stars. The wonderful lady behind the gelato stand was so nice and efficient. The establishment is very modern and superbly clean. It offers free Wifi and the toilets were kept clean. The gelato options are endless and the flavors are great. But the highlight to us were the waffles, specifically the Ferrero Rocher... More

Lovely place and the staff are so hardworking. Loved the flavour choices and combinations, this would be an ideal venue for a kid's party! Well done!

Nice churros with hot chocolate. I didn't try the ice cream but it all looked delicious. Maybe next time...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
