We have, so far, tried the lemon (good, could be sharper for my taste), nocciola, good, rocher (as in Ferrero) good too, crema catalana good, but NUTELLA wins all the prizes going. Lip smackingly great. At just under €4 for two scoops, it isn't cheap per se, but it isn't as expensive as sitting down and having an ice cream... More

Great gelato, perfectly rich and smooth. They have a good variety of flavors, we tried chocolate and pistachio and they were both excellent. The place is very cute and the staff were friendly and efficient.

If you want real Liege waffles, made to order with whatever toppings you like, Giovanni Italian Gelateria is THE place to go in Barcelona. The gelato is superb and the waffles are crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. I had my waffle with After Eight gelato covered with chocolate. To die for!!! YUMMY!

While you can't really go wrong with gelato, some places just stand out. Gelateria Giovanni is one of these places - great service, excellent selection, open late, good value for money, lovely location. You can't go wrong stopping for an ice cream here. PS The Nutella option was out of this world.

This gelato was so creamy and smooth! They had a wide selection of flavors, it was so hard to decide. If you like Nutella, the Nutella gelato was fantastic as well.

We passed by here for breakfast 3 days out of 4 as it was 25% of the price of our hotels offering! The service was exceptional and so was the quality of the food - yoghurt with cereal, banana and honey, followed by toast and a cafe con leche was just the started needed each morning. Definitely recommend here and... More

Fabulous gelato in Barcelona. Flavorful and a very generous portion. We had "After Eight" which is the same as mint chocolate chip. Incredible!!!!!!

This place has some of the best gelato anywhere. If they have the Sapphire Gin & Tonic try it. The After Eight is good too. Its right off Las Ramblas & Plaza Real in a very touristy area but worth a visit, especially if you're in the area.
