Un- assuming place with one of the greatest surprise when it comes to simplicity and taste. From the olives to the tortilla de patatas, the variety of other plates all, without exceptions are superbly light, with the deep taste of fresh products, the bred is .. well irresistible.. And the variety of wines excellent! ( try the Clos Dominic) A... More

After a long day in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of having a terrific evening in this very cosy restaurant with a most charming atmosphere. The combination of the excellent, fresh and local dishes with a wide wine range and the professional, yet very friendly and attentive, staff makes this lovely and peaceful place one of Barcelona’s best. I strongly... More

Excellent catalan food, made with good quality products (mostly eco/organic) and made with love! The owners Helena and Olivier are very good host. We will definitely repeat! Must try the "ventresca", their "secreto" and lemon pie! Everything delicious and the restaurant is very charming.

I visited Barcelona this summer with my brother and ate at many high end restaurants. This one exceeded all of them in quality and service.

A local recommended this place, centrally located, reasonable prices. We went for dinner but they are also open for breakfast and lunch. We shared tapas of olives, cheese selection (best we had in 7 d in Barcelona), fresh steamed veg with to die for almond-tomato sauce, and a main course of tuna tataki. We didn't have room for their burgers... More

This lovely find was a few doors down from our apartehotel and was probably one of the best meals we'd had in Bcn. The inside is lovely and quaint, there is a fine selection of wines, excellent service and the food!! Each meal that came out was divine. Try the warm sandwiches, the meats, the breads...it's all fantastic.

The food and atmosphere was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some good wine and craft beer selection. We had pat'e starter and beef mains with a quinoa salad. Little pricey than the regular joints but worth that little extra.

This came recommended by a friend and he was spot on. What a charming place. The food is superb and the little shop has some really interesting things to buy. I would highly recommend it. It was so good, that we went back for a cocktail the next night!

Good, fast service. Nice location. Pretty decoration. And... excellent food! What's not to love? Pricey? Not even! (on Barcelona's standards)

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
