Overrated place. I am back home for two days now and had to ask my bf to remember what I actually had for dinner. Not a good thing as I am a foodie who always remembers a good place and the food they serve. Had the seafood risotto and my bf ordered the lamb. Also had starters but seriously cant... More

The location of this restaurant is well hidden away from the normal tourist traps. Located in a somewhat dodgy back street with no other restaurants. Make sure you make reservations in advance as it tends to be full. The service is good. All food was served on time and there was no excessive waiting between the courses. The food was... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend- the recommendation was wonderful and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was delicious, well thought-out, beautiful presentation whilst being so tastey. Definitely good value. The staff were so welcoming, and created a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

I've eaten here at least 6 times in the last few years and have never been disappointed. I also love the very cozy ambience and very friendly staff. It's worth the out of the way location. Also has a great wine list and don't miss the blackberry mojito!

Visited this restaurant twice in a week it was so good. The blackberry mojito was delicious. We ate a tomato tartar for entree and beef cheeks and mushroom and truffle risotto for mains and we had the crime caramel for desert. The location is hidden away in a small laneway 2 blocks from Sant Antoni metro station. Would recommend you... More

Perfect, excellent food. I have been there for dinner. Definitely, one of the best food in Barcellona. It is better to have a reservation before you are coming.

Totally worth making your way to this hidden restaurant! The food is fantastic: each dish is classic with a creative twist. The staff were wonderful and also made it easy for us with a baby.

We made a day trip to Barcelona and made reservations at Cera 23 based on a friend's recommendation. It was the perfect experience to top off a day of amazing experiences. The neighbourhood is a little dank but a very close walk from La Rambla and very well populated in the evening. The restaurant itself is small and cute. The... More

The neighbourhood might look sketchy, but don't let that stop you. We went there for our last night in BCN and we loved it. Do make a reservation, else you might be out of luck. We had the Galician Ham config and the langoustines as starters and both took the tuna as main course. It was absolutely amazing. To top... More

Looking from the outside and in, I thought it was just a simple bar. It wasn't. It was a remarkable restaurant, with a great atmosphere and delicious food. Order different plates, so you can share. We had no reservation, but was offered a seat at the bar, where we enjoyed our meal.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
