Amazing location with great views of the Magic Fountains. The food is reasonably priced however it is of average quality. We did sample the deserts as one reviewer mentioned the profiteroles and they were the best dessert out of the five that we tried. I would not come back here just for them though!

The girls wanted to see the fountain show near placa espanya, but the guys wanted to eat. Problem solved. The Mussol on the 5th flow of the arenas center had an amazing view of the Placa and of Montjuic, and the food was delicious. Good servings of meat, and some nice sides (some of which also had meat). A couple... More

The best meal that we have eaten while staying in Barcelona. Our Spanish is rubbish so an English speaking waiter and young lady on the door was a real help. Everyone enjoyed their food even if the timing of its delivery to the table was a bit quirky! We went up to the restaurant via the escalators inside the shopping... More

This restaurant is at the top of Arenas mall and the area is super popular because you can see part of the light show at the fountain from there -- or watch the show and combine it with a meal. You can't beat the view. The restaurant was very full and there were a lot of families, most of them... More

Food to share, a real Catalan food experience, sangria complete. So many dishes to choose from, we left it to our hosts to really educate us! Totally divine, the food, the service, atmosphere and price. A 10.20 pm booking ensured we were in for a real treat. Open your mind and eyes to a sensory experience! Great outlook from the... More

We had been to visit the Caxia Gorum and previously eaten I their place on Diagonal, We were seated immediately and given both the set menu and al a carte. Unfortunately as I am a pescatarian there was no choice for me on the menu of the day but the al a carte wasn't expensive. We ordered asparagus green and... More

My two granddaughters and I had a meal at this restaurant as part of an evening excursion with our guided tour. Take my word for it - the meal just wasn't that great. From the beginning, our food just didn't appeal to us - and I'm not a picky eater. For the main course I chose chicken - so what... More

We found this place on a day where we had been walking the majority of the day. We were tired, thirsty and hungry. The menu looked good and prices were reasonable for where we were. We were seated and ordered . Our waiter was pretty good and the hostess who seated us was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered hamburger... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
