Highly recommend this quaint indoor/outdoor restaurant in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Loads of atmosphere. English menu provided staff very happy to make suggestions and explain the menu. Inexpensive and quite popular with local people. Dishes didn't come with vegetables so make sure you order...More

Wonderful food, staff, atmosphere & music. One of the best places not far from the Rambla to rest and mingle with other friendly people who like music.

A colleague of mine took me to this place for drinks and a couple of tapas and I'm really thankful beacause it is a lovely -definitely romantic- place, yet difficult to find if you don't know the area. Most tables are set around a typical...More

Fell upon this oasis en route to the waterfront from the contemporary art centre via backstreet exploration.....chill out tunes, relaxed atmosphere, casual cushion cosy seating around a small square within the intimate main square......good service, slightly long wait for food order, but didn't spoil whole...More

We entered here by mistake on our way to Rambla. We ordered two cappuccinos which in my opinion were terrible (half foam and bitter) and some tapas: mini hamburgers, Spanish omelette and skirt steak. The food was average at best, and very expensive considering both...More

Stumbled across this place by accident while wandering Barcelona looking to eat tapas, food was nice without being anything special but the setting, particularly with a glass of crisp white wine in hand as the sun went down, was wonderful.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic
spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
