It plays a great selection of popular rock songs, serves great food, the classic Spanish dishes served in a modern style. My new local hangout

We arrived here after 11pm and this was one of the few bars in the area serving food. Ordered Spanish omelette, croquettes and honours dips and could not fault the food at all. Won't hesitate to return

We had a burguer and "patatas bravas" for dinner. It wars good but not great. We had a beer and a coke and we paid 14€ each. There are a lot of restaurants better than this one.

If you want quality food try this place - tasting menu is good some may say over priced at 19e each but included a drink so I don't think that's bad - reasonable service both 9pm and 3pm So quite happy to come back again

Tapas tasting menu for two persons priced 19 euros and we paid 38 euros. Me and my daughter ate this menu and it was hardly worth 19 euros for two persons and after all this we got charged 38 euros. My misstake? If food is for two persons and priced 19e I expect l pay 19e for two. At least... More

All the plates were very small, the foie croquets was the best. The other one terrible the tuna, the nachos were good and a normal size and the octopus very small and with too many sauce.

Family was tired and hungry and wanted something other than Tapas. Menu looked promising so we went in. Ordered drinks and they took a bit longer than usual for just a beer and water.Ordered food right away as well. In the entrees section we ordered curry chicken w vegetables and surf and turf, which was braised beef, scallops (with an... More

Nice place to have your breakfast at. Service was OK. Bocadillos were fine. The coffee was delicious. The property needs a spring-clean and a coat of paint.

The restaurant we were supposed to go to was closed down so we had to quickly find an alternate. Found Barraval with a nice outdoor patio section. We elected to sit inside. Fortunately, food has been great! Would return.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
