I found this restaurant with good reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The waitress made some recommendations for Tapas that we followed and they were all delicious. We recommend the shrimps especially. The white wine fit the Tapas perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will come back for sure!

We had supper at the Creu Coberta restaurant on Saturday July 23. Extremely disappointed in the variety of seafood in the paella dish (Arroz Marinero). At 17.50 euros per person, for a total of 35 euros, it was a platter of mainly rice with 2 scamps! Although it was delicious we felt shortchanged. No similarity to photos of paella dishes... More

We ate there twice. Some of the hotels around the Placa de Espanya recommend it and give out gift cards for a free aperitif. It is expensive but the food is excellent, well worth the price if you can afford it. Excellent wine as well.

Really good, fresh seafood and well seasoned. Forthcoming service. I like! :) Didn't try the meat, but will do next time. Feels very genuine.

Our hotel recommended this hotel, and lucky us; we had a great evening out. We were a large group of adults, so we got a long table in the back were we didnt didsturb anyone. The waiters were really attentive, first with our drinks, recommending wine, etc. When we ordered the food they were helpful in explaning this and that... More

We tried many tapas' from the sea and the mountains. Padron peppers were amazing, galician style octopus was also amazing. Bread with tomatoes was interesting but fine. Chorizos just like at home, love it. And last but not least, the crema catalana w\ ice cream was just heavenly. Strongly recommended.

So we went to see the Magic Fountain on a day it wasn't on, so googled tapas bars in the area. We chose Monumental based on Tripadvisor reviews, and they were not wrong! The food was fantastic, like authentic yet posh Spanish food - delicious! The staff were lovely and I've already recommended the place to family who are planning... More

Nice ambience and good service. The paella was amazing and the Patatas Bravas were the best that i've tried. Highly recommended for a nice and quiet meal.
