We came here recommended and we had the perfect dinner we were looking for. Excellent meal, attentive service and superb atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Hear the servers suggestions and they will surprise you!!!

We went to dinner at La Pepita, and based on trip advisor reviews, we wanted to have the Tuna Tataki and a couple of the pepita dishes. They were out of the Tuna Tataki. We had a few tapas dishes and a fish pepita and the beef pepita. The tapas dishes were nice but nothing special, the fish pepita was... More

Very nice service, good tapas and a good bottle of Spanish white wine. Small, nice setting which was unfortunately quite noisy "thanks" to a group of 8 Spanish ladies who sat next to us.

I took some colleagues to La Pepita whilst staying in Barcelona for a sales meeting. It was a great little restaurant and reasonably priced, around 175 Euros for 5 people (tapas starter, special main, dessert, water and few alcoholic drinks each) The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend booking in advance as it's quite small. Also try... More

We just went in for a few small plates, but the quality of the food and the cosy environment meant that we changed our plans to make lunch the large meal of the day and stayed there for a full 3 courses. Excellent service, delicious and interesting tapas, well put together and very tasty. we have this on our list... More

After two very mediocre tapas dining experiences, we were hoping for something better...and we found it at La Pepita! Arriving for a 7:30 pm reservation due to a Palau de las Musica concert later that evening, we were seated immediately as this was an early dining time and there were few patrons in the restaurant. With our minimal Spanish/Catalan and... More

Barcelona - beautiful City, but oh so damn touristy, almost impossible to find anything "authenticly Spanish" I have never seen so many restaurants in a City in my life....one after another...patio upon patio upon patio on the rambla and North in the "new town" I spent hours reading blogs before our trip and thank goodness I had made a reservation... I loved La Pepita, the food was excellent. The tapas were inspired by traditional Spanish and Catalan dishes but interpreted in a creative yet unpretentious manner. The service was excellent as was the decor. I will recommend it to everyone who visits Barcelona!

I think this may just be the best place I have ever spent an evening....brilliant atmosphere, stunning food, flawless service and great wine! My friend and I ate here on a busy Saturday night in July. We were worried as we approached as we hadn't booked a table and this tiny place was packed. The staff told us to try... More

New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
