The service is great. The owner is a beautiful young woman, Sofia, and all smiling. Same for her mother. She did not speak English but her eyes spoke for her. The guy who served me was forthcoming, friendly and well-spoken in English. He offered me a ansjovis tapas. Try it! Very secial. Never had it before. Rated it as perfect... More

Excelent service always very well guided by the very kind owners Sofia and Sergio. The food was outstanding. Great atmosphere with a good mix between locals and outsiders. Just don't miss it. Congratulations Sofia and Sergio Luis and Celia - Lisbon

My friend and I went to La Pepita for dinner a few nights ago. We love trying new foods so instead of choosing our tapas from the menu we asked the waiter to select for us the best dishes and to blow us away. I'm sorry to say that didnt happen. None of the dishes were more unique or tasty... More

It's tiny, the food is ok, service not great. We went due to the trip advisor rating and were a bit disappointed. The food was good but in Barcelona you can find other great food. The gin and tonic was the best part, and the chicken croquettes were very good as well. We had a glass of wine, Gin and... More

All I can say is some of the best food we had in Barcelona! What a gem! We made a reservation on the weekend and were sat promptly. The service was excellent, our waiter was so nice and happily explained anything that wasn't explained in our english version menu. The food were a bit larger than small plates, all excellent!... We came here based on the ranking of the restaurant. Certainly some of the food was top notch, such as the foie and their soup. However, on average their food is 4 out of 5 stars. Very well prepared, just not spectacular and some of the flavors didn't work. This rating is based on a direct comparison with other restaurants... More

It is a small restaurant, with very tasty tapas and very creative main dishes. Staff very friendly. And the best, it is under priced!! A must-go!!!

Description
New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
