Upon our waiter's recommendation, my husband and I ordered a few tapas to share and one pepita each. Great tapas, especially loved the artichoke and pork belly. Their pepitas, however, were just okay. Fork and knife were required for my beef pepita. The beef was sandwiched between two very thin slices of toasted bread that quickly snapped into pieces. One of my favorite places I ate during my time here! A cute little restaurant on the corner with amazing papas bravas (the best I've had in barcelona)! I live right by the restaurant and the place is always packed until 2 in the morning! Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time!

My husband and I went to La Pepita in March and loved our experience there. The food was creative, the space was fabulous, and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. We left our tapas selection up to the chef and while not every dish was a winner for us, overall the quality and creativity were outstanding. Highly recommend reservations... More

I had an amazing time in Barcelona, and on our last night the hotel concierge recommended this restaurant to us. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I'm coming back in July and will definitely be coming here again!

La Pepita's is a real gem. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot inside. The small and intimate setting was full of locals, it appeared, which we felt was a good indication of quality. We were encouraged by the barman to look at the menu; which sounded delicious. The unique cuisine, created and styled by... More

My husband and I were on a fantastic trip to Barcelona for a few days in March 2013 and wanted to find an authentic place to eat tapas. We went to Tripadvisor and searched for a place nearby (in "Eixample") and luckily found La Pepita! This place is just worthwhile going! A fantastic "Spanish" atmosphere - loads of local people... We were recommended by Oriel at the Barcelona Arts Hotel. The best tapas we had on our 5 day trip. Sofia greeted us in a most welcoming and charming manner. All the seats in this small restaurant are good. The menu is extensive, but just told Sofia our "not likes" and left the choices up to her. It was amazing.... More

Description
New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
