New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

We loved this place, the Spanish waitress was so kind and we liked the food as well. Our favorite was the dorada; the cheesecake was a perfect portion and very subtle flavor.

Quality of the dishes is good, but frankly the portion sizes are super super small! Very very stingy for the price we paid. I do not advise you to go.

The best tapas bar-restaurant I've ever been. Authentic real Spanish tastes. Delicious tapas with main courses as well. Really cheap drinks which perfectly goes with the amazing tastes. Really happy and ready to help you crue!!!! Great food experience!!!!

The food and wine here couldn’t be faulted, it was really amazing! The atmosphere is also great and very lively; whilst the restaurant is very small, we had plenty of room and privacy. You get the real Spanish experience here and it’s brilliant! We will...definitely be back if we visit Barcelona again!More

We went here based on trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and seated straight away. The selection of tapas was great. Ordered house Merlot and it was delicious. Very unique dining experience with the decor of the dining...room - graffiti walls! Chorizo was amazing. Calamari was rubbery - would avoid this dish. Overall lovely staff and food. Highly recommended.More

Some of the best tapas I had in barcelona. Innovative but good size portions. The aubergine one and the patatas bravas are amazing! Average prices. Gets very busy later on.

Went there with a friend. Waited for 40 minutes for a table, TOTALLY worth it. I've been in Spain a week, and had loads of different tapas, and this was by far the best! The venue is loud and vivacious, the staff are great, and...the food was amazing!More

My wife and I had Tapas at El Pepita twice on a recent visit to Barcelona. The six different tapas we tried were excellent. The presentations were very appealing, quantities good, and the tastes were superb. The Pepita Bikini with truffles was to die for....The grilled artichoke hearts was a favorite. We also shared several desserts including the dark chocolate on a cookie with a little olive jam and oil...unusual but oh so delightfully rich. The staff were also very friendly and managed the patrons appropriately.More

Went, alone, at 1600. Sat at the bar. Sometimes places close for the afternoon in Barcelona, this place is open straight through which is an advantage. Wide variety of dishes for all pallets, good selection of wines and alcohol, friendly prices, good service. Supposedly the place...gets very very busy in the evening.More

We went for Valentines Day and had the best time! There was a short wait, but they have a bar near by called La Cava where you can wait for your table, super convenient. The food was delicious, they already have marked the dishes they...highly recommend. The service was oustanding, so friendly fun and easy going! Then at the end of the meal they gave us spanish digestifs. It's a must go if you're in the area!More

not sure about December 31st, but they definitely do not take reservations. First I went, we had to put our name down and go 30 minutes later, but it was worth the wait
