I had tried to come to this restaurant several times before. Usually there’s a long line of people outside hoping to get a table. The place is cozy and all of its walls feature writing and drawings. Service is quick and they have a large...More

After waiting for about half an hour we got two seats at the bar and enjoyed the busy yet relaxed atmosphere there. We tried quite a few tapas and liked all of them. It is not really cheap, but we had fun trying out new...More

This small restaurant has a very true Barcelona vibe. The tapas were fresh, not fat, and very tasty. The staff was welcoming and smiling. I recommend the octopus, which is very hard to cook well, and they nailed it!

We had lunch there and enjoyed the food very much. The artichoke hummus was excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful, despite being very busy. We would certainly recommend this place.

On our last night in Barcelona, we were craving an authentic tapas experience; having felt as though we’d been led by Google to more ‘gourmet’ and ‘done up’ tapas restaurants, by searching for “the best tapas bars in Barcelona”. The word ‘best’ is subjective. To...More

The bar has a very good vibe and a very pleasant atmosphere. Pepitas are delicious, service is good. We really enjoyed our evening here. The prices are reasonable: for 4 beers, 2 pepitas and a couple of simple tapases we paid about 40 euros.

Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to
be an independent town until late into the 19th
century. Though it’s just a short commute away from
the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole
different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many
international artists to this area, resulting in a
wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy
boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the

We were early, so had appetizers, a drink, many of the same dishes mentioned above and spent 90 euros. Expensive, but worth it.

New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.
