The restaurant itself looks very nice, the staff is very welcoming and the pizzas are just amazing. The gourmet options are delicious. We shared a mix of three pizza types, for a very decent price that tasted awesome. Very recommended!

If you want to taste a little bit of Italy this is the place to go to! We choose the XXL gourmet style pizza with 4 persons as lunch. I would say this is more than enough for lunch! The pizza is baked in a traditional stone oven and taste really good! The family which runs this place is Italian and you can taste that. The prices are also really good for being in Barcelona.
We would recommend the tiramisu that is homemade. It is a bit small for its price, but the tiramisu is place inside old milk and sugar pots for the coffee. Really love this idea.
Also lovely to get the limoncello at the end even though it was lunch time.

We ended up here when the other Don Kilo down the street unexpectedly closed one night. The host/waiter at this Don Kilo set up a separate tented table for us a fair distance down the block from the door of the restaurant, yet he never forgot us. We were served promptly with great pizza as if we’d been inside with the crowds. We appreciated it and the food was great.

Arrived here yesterday on my birthday. Both myself and husband were told we would have the table for 1 hour, which was fine as I had heard such good reviews about this place I really wanted to eat here. Pizzas came, they were full of olive oil, I understand the food culture here uses lots of olive oil but this was excessive. Needless to say, we ate less than half each, at which point I thought I would be asked was everything okay with your food, we were never asked. I asked for the bill but hadn’t finished our drink, but we were asked after 40 minutes to move, I had not finished my drink so decided to just leave. Would not recommend going here in future! Terrible experience.

first of all it is very important to clarify that you did not book any tables and it is for this reason that you have been told the time available before the arrival of the next person who had booked.
We sincerely believe that being the birthday, a very important day for anyone, you should have organized it in time, book a table and enjoy dinner in the correct way.
Regardless of choosing the Donkilo restaurant or another restaurant.
Maybe this feeling of rushing didn't allow you to enjoy the dinner but it was not our fault.
We were clear with you from the beginning and we indicated the time at your disposal since we had to respect who would come after you, reserving the table.
We are sorry that you was not satisfied a we are sorry to receive a bad review but we honestly don't feel guilty.
As for the oil in the pizza, it depends on which pizza you chose, not all pizzas are made in the same way and maybe in your case it was a pizza with a topping on the way out.

I had very high hopes for this place based on the very good reviews, and was hoping to eat one of the best pizzas of my life, but unfortunately it was not the case.
I had the Noci Parma E Gorgonzola Pizza.
I asked to replace the ham with mushrooms as I am a vegetarian. They were happy to do it, but charged me 2 euros for it without letting me know in advance. This would have been okay if at least my pizza had a decent quantity of mushrooms, but as you can see on the picture of my pizza there was not a lot of mushrooms.
Not to mention the 3 small pieces of Gorgonzola on the entire pizza.
This resulted in a very basic pizza, definitely not one to remember.
On a positive note the dough was good and the service was very fast.
I was maybe unlucky but I won’t be returning!

Casual and nice place with a variety of pizzas to choose from. They serve some starters and salads as well. We had their burrata with arugula, tomato, olives and parmesan cheese, as well as one pizza each. The burrata was good, and the pizzas were even better. It is thin crust and freshly made, and served on a wooden plate. Our dishes came extremely fast. We had just finished the burrata before our pizzas arrived. After our meal we got melon- and limoncello on the house. The place is popular so I recommend booking a table in advance. The service was as expected. They serve a fancy-looking starter with tons of selections (which our neighbor table had) and that is definitely something for a big group of friends.

We found this place on our first night in Barcelona and they kindly squeezed us in. The staff were great. Lots of locals seemed to popping in to eat or pick up pizza to take away. I can see why because the pizza was great. The house wine was delicious. One thing I did notice is that the locals, without exception, got served bigger glasses of wine! Come on guys...we visitors like wine too! Anyhow the food was so good we went back to the other Don Kilo restaurant on our last night and the pizza was just as good.

We had great experience here. The pizzas we ordered- Cuatro quesos and Flotador, were really delicious, one of the best we've eaten. They even asked if we wanted to pack our last pieces. The staff were very friendly. The prices are reasonavle, we paid 30Euros for two people. I recommend it. :)

This is a must go for pizza lover! Real Italian pizza jus steps away from the Sagrada Familia. Nice relaxing environment, attentive service, and most importantly a real italian pizza! The base for the pizza is just about perfect and the toppings add great quality. Don't forget to order a dessert, they are delicious! We will be back!

We dined in this restaurant without having reserved, the waiter found us a place on the terrace. We ordered a pizza each (mine was very good) and an appetizer. We quickly understood that we had to leave as quickly as possible, the waiter came twice to ask us to pay, he took away my partner's plate while I had not finished eating. No offer of dessert or coffee, the table had to be cleared as quickly as possible. Too bad because the food is good...

The place is small and they make the most of the space. The treatment of the staff is good, they serve fast and also leave you fast to continue attending. In our case we stayed about 40 minutes from when we sat down until dinner and were invited to leave because they had people waiting. Pizzas are rich although they do not have great variety and are somewhat expensive, if you do not go very hungry you can share one between two people and end well. In our case we were 4 people and ordered three pizzas; pistachio 16,90 € (best presence, eaten with eyes), barbecue 16,90 € that include it within the Fine Dining Fan selection and Noci Parma e Gorgonzola 15,90 € (perhaps the most basic).
That said, the place is not bad, neither is the attention but beyond pizzas the menu is lame.

My wife and I had two of the best pizzas ever. The chef comes from Naples so maybe should not be surprised. Front of house was very welcoming and cared passionately about how the pizzas were made and the ingredients used to create them. This wild certainly be a regular place to eat if we stayed in BCN.

We ate Burrata salad and 5 cheese pizza, for dessert a Nutela cake, to drink Lambrusco, we paid €46.00
The food was very good, the place, even though it was a little small, we were very comfortable, the staff was very pleasant. It is highly recommended if you like pizzas, very good.

Delicious!! Fantastic customer service. Delicious food. We went with our little daughter and they were very attentive to us, they prepared a special heart-shaped pizza for her, she was delighted. Very nice presentation and the flavor of the pizzas excellent. A very well decorated place!! We will be back!

Probably the best Pizza I have had.
We went here for lunch and ended up going again on our last night, the Pizzas are amazing and they put loads on them, they have ruined Pizzas for us back in the UK.
Just go, honestly you won't be disappointed.
The staff are good as well. There are two restaurants one is smaller in case you were wondering. But both were great.
