Superb location on a Sunday evening when the whole of Barcelona was there to watch. Had the tapas and apart from one item we weren't sure about the quality was actually very good. The wine was not astronomical in price and was quiet pleasant. Not upmarket but good for the location.

We were looking for somewhere along the ramblas to people watch and there's a collection of these style tents lined up along the middle. Like any tourist, we thought we'd take a seat and instantly were asked if we wanted anything to drink before looking at the menu. We asked for Sangria and two large glasses came out and the... More

We wanted to stop for a drink at one of the street cafes on Las Ramblas, and we knew it would be expensive as it is a tourist area. The food prices seemed reasonable (and the food looked great) so we ordered two small beers ..... and two huge beers appeared! We enjoyed the drink, the ambience, the people watching... More

Although provides great views along Las Ramblas, the waiters harass people to come dine here. Also, the menu lists no prices, so we were shocked to have a bill for almost 40 € for only 4 cocktails, where at other restaurants the bill would have been close to 20€.

Yes it's great for people watching, but really the prices are ridiculous, the food average at best, but what do you expect?

Great place for drinks and food in the Ramblas, would highly recommend. Lovely friendly staff and an amazing huge glass of Sangria the food was also lovely and very reasonable for the location. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant on my next trip.

We stopped for a quick tapa and a "small" beer. They don't HAVE "small" beers and 2 large one appeared on our table before we were even seated. We were suspicious...and should've left, but didn't. Sensing a con, I went into the restaurant asking how much the beers were. The guy behind the counter said, "I don't know." and THEN... More

We just wanted to sit somewhere nice and have a beer. So thought that Tapa i Apat would do the trick. The Arnold Swartzenegger looking like waiter was rather scary and unprofessional, lacking the sense of humor(this bit i found it to be the scariest!). The money we paid for 4 beers was €50, as you can see, but that... More

We were strolling up Las Ramblas and my wife saw one of the food adverts at the front of this establishment. The place looked clean and well patronised. We both are not fond of outdoor eating here in Europe because of the number of people who smoke indiscriminately when they are eating, waiting in a line etc etc. we decided... More

Worst meal and service I have ever received at a restaurant. Food was inedible and staff were slow and very rude. We raised our concerns about the quality of the food with our waiter, who was not interested. After receiving the bill, which came to 66 euros, we offered 40 euros as the food was extremely poor and most of... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
