Went with a group of 12 from cruise ship overnighting. Second visit for us. We all had tapas and everyone was delighted with their choices. My Argentinian Crispy Shrimp with Curry Ice Cream was outstanding. Sounds funny but works. I ordered another. We ordered 5 tapas for the two of us plus wine and bottled - only 54 €. Hope... More

Booked this from reviews from Trip Advisor.... not at all disappointed. Great little place with lots of fantastic food to choose from. Very popular .... well worth a visit. Had three tapas to share to start, yes even the one with curry ice cream......rack of lamb main, salmon for the lady..... so good no morsel left. Washed down with a... More

A fellow traveller recommended this place so we walked to the Gothic quarter which was definitely worth the visit. We arrived pretty early by Spanish standards for dinner at 7pm and were the only patrons in sight which made us nervous. The decor beckoned so we ventured forth and ordered cueva and tinto passing on the tapas. Both meals were... More

We looked online for hours to find exactly what we were looking for in Barcelona (casual meal but not tapas and not too prices). Eventually found Gilda by accident and had a real treat. Mussels in a Thai sauce - thickly sliced and rare duck breast with sweet potato purée - grilled beef tenderloin - it was all good and... More

A brilliant experience. Sit at the bar and eat tapas with a twist with the locals. We walked through back streets to find an authentic tapas bar... we nearly walked past this gem! Beef stew on toast is fab.

Had a lovely meal here whilst on holiday, initially my main meal was not cooked the way I wanted it and it was changed straight away and with no fuss, and when I ate it it was delicious. Everything from our welcome, the staff, the atmosphere, the decor and the food were first class, will go here again next time... More

Food refined enough but not pretentious, relaxed atmosphere, affordable. Good ingredients, a bit garlicky here and there. Solid Filet mignon (sauce a bit heavy handed), good duck, original take on the chicken. Great waiter.

It was a great experience to eat here. The staff is friendly and the location is good. The best thing about the restaurant was the prawn with curry-ice! Really loved it. Also I would like to recommend the chickenbreast with ginger-ice! Of course, there are also plenty of options for non-ice-fans.

Welcome to Gilda by Belgious! Dedicated to the fading art of good service and fine, flavorful food at a good price, we seek out the freshest, quality ingredients to ensure your experience is of the highest calibre from beginning (our delectable gourmet tapas) to end (our mouth watering house-made deserts)! Since we are part of Belgious, don't be surprised to discover that some of our dishes come with wasabi, ginger, curry or even cannabis ice-cream ! Our kitchen opens every evening from 18:30 till midnight (even later during weekends), meaning you can even walk in at 23:45 and still enjoy dinner with us. If you would like to try our gastronomy at noon, we do open the restaurant -prior reservation- for private groups from 14 to 36 guests (Ideal for celebrations or company related luncheons).
