I was greeted very warmly by the staff when I came in, which was early for the Catalans/Spanish. I asked for the waitress to suggest a nice summer cocktail and it was superb! I had the crispy Argentinian shrimps, mounted on a scoop of curry ice cream and a bed of spinach for my appetizer. I could be mistaken, but... More

We decided to go here for our last evening meal in Barcelona! We tried some tapas for the first time and it was amazing especially the belgian meatballs and bread - so good! For dessert we had the chocolate fondant and cannabis ice cream which was so nice and unusual! Worth a visit when in Barcelona.

To sum up this restaurant in one word: WOW! After having three tapas to start, two mains and two desserts, my boyfriend and I were blown away at how amazing every dish was. It is pretty much fine dining without the price to go with it. Also a very comfortable environment and great service. I would highly recommend the prawns... More

We reached the place guided by the opinions and we got totally disappointed. The place is nice but not amazing. When you read the menu, everything seems really sophisticated. As the prices were high, we thought the portions would be big enough. The result: really simple food, expensive and very small portions. Would not come back

This is a small intimate restaurant with a modern style. While not normally something that I would comment on in a restaurant, I loved the art that was hanging on the walls. It was bright and colourful, which perfectly complimented the dark colour choices of the other décor elements. The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Red tuna ceviche... More

Another great restaurant in the Gothic quarter. We had a combination of Tapas for starters & then larger main dishes. The rack of New Zealand lamb was a surprise to see on the menu with Chimi Churi but it worked so well. The Italian bar man was helpful & also fun which helped make our experience even better... Lovely place... More

Based on tripadvisor we tried to book a table but the system was down. Nevertheless at 7pm there was plenty of space (which was not the case as from 9pm, so be aware of this.) The tapas were great and there are several interesting combinations. The food is fresh and the presentation very nice. Service was good and fast (maybe... More

Staying in Barcelona after another cycling holiday this was our last dinner before flying home. It was one of the best. The service was excellent..the restsurant is small..intimate..it's down by the marina and easily accessible by transit. It's down a little side street... The steak I had was excellent..done exactly as requested..and awesome fries..washed down by a local beer called... More

it is our second visit, three years ago I liked this restaurant, now I won't recommend it. Overpriced. The meals are OK, but the service sucks a dirty foot. I ordered tea but the waiter forgot about it completely, left me waiting for 20 minutes after the main course was finished (our table for two was the only occupied table... More

Welcome to Gilda by Belgious! Dedicated to the fading art of good service and fine, flavorful food at a good price, we seek out the freshest, quality ingredients to ensure your experience is of the highest calibre from beginning (our delectable gourmet tapas) to end (our mouth watering house-made deserts)! Since we are part of Belgious, don't be surprised to discover that some of our dishes come with wasabi, ginger, curry or even cannabis ice-cream ! Our kitchen opens every evening from 18:30 till midnight (even later during weekends), meaning you can even walk in at 23:45 and still enjoy dinner with us. If you would like to try our gastronomy at noon, we do open the restaurant -prior reservation- for private groups from 14 to 36 guests (Ideal for celebrations or company related luncheons).
