This time we came on purpose as opposed to last time that we just "fell" on the place. Although 4 years passed, Michel still remembered me and this time I was with my brother and father. Again the combination of strong Belgium beer (Westamalle this time) with Tapas and excellent main dishes were a great comforting event for the unfortunate... More

This restaurant is outstanding. Strolling around Barri Gotic we thought it looked inviting for an early evening drink. We visited every night of our trip after that. The food is delicious, with interesting combinations. Everything is fresh and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly, efficient and always helpful. It's top of my list when next visiting Barcelona

Second night in a row here, sampling Westmalle and other great Belgium beers, and extraordinary fine food. Michel is a wonderful host, and so is the rest of his wait staff. Perfect after the Classico...

Wandering out the door of the Hesperia Gotic my son, daughter-in-law & wife saw a sign about tapas and that was it. We went in -- early in the evening for Barcelona dining, which revealed us as gringos immediately -- and were seated at a long table by the window. . . . The menu is massive. So many choices.... I went with my girlfriend for dinner and had a very nice experience. The waiter was very friendly, the place a bit small but nice. The wine was ok, we liked the latatas bravas, steak and duck. Would recommend to anyone

We had several good tapas which represented well the double culture of the restaurant (the fries and mussels tapas were great), the atmosphere is really cosy and the owner is attentive. Little advice: try the beef with the demi glace sauce. Definitely a great finding in Barcelona, would easily eat there again !

This restaurant was an incredible surprise. We ate dinner here on our first night in Barcelona and it was a superb experience. (In fact, no other dinner came close and we refer to this as a Top Five All-time Dinner experience.) We were seated right away and the waiter was very welcoming and informative. The tapas were SO delicious that... More

Restaurant got recommended by our tour guide. And for the kids it was haven for a little while to eat the food they grew up with 😁. Good service, good food and good prices.

We were a couple visiting this restaurant. We had no reservation, but got seats anyway. One strange thing is that people that came after us, also without reservation, got better seats. The tapas was good, but nothing special, we had better tapas elsewere, and also bigger portions. The service was very good, maybe better that average in Barcelona.

Hello, thank you for visiting us. We always offer a the choice (if available) between sitting in the bar area or in the in the other side of the restaurant. There is not such a thing of "better" seats, rather seats which match anyone's preferences. Next time around don't he shy to ask for another seat, this will definitely enhance... More

Cute place in Barri Gotic. Neat Belgium-inspired menu. Fantastic (virgin) mojitos. Mussels are excellent. Cheese selection is excellent. Belgian-style albondigas were fantastic. Service was below-average, even for Barcelona standards. Tip was demanded, as with other reviews.

Thank SugarSammy
