Close to our hotel but wish we had gone elsewhere. Steak was tough and inedible. Service so so. Quite expensive considering the poor quality of the food. Can't recommend based on our visit.

This place has great coffee served in illy cups and the best croissants we've ever had. Go inside and the vibe feels like a place where locals come before work. The service is friendly. We went there every morning at 7 am and loved every visit.

Stumbled across this place late one night after leaving the Hard rock café as we didn't want to wait an hour before we could be seated, so glad we hadn't waited. To share as a starter we had the tortilla chips with guacamole, then My husband had the American platter and I had the spaghetti nero with prawns. We both... More

Just last week my daughter and I were visiting Barcelona. We met up with two of her friends who were also in town at the same time to have dinner (see review as well "They stole from us"). We ordered and had our meal, the food was okay - not great or horrible. But the surprise came after we paid... More

I went to this restaurant based on the fairly good reviews and close proximity to where I was staying. The food was pretty good to be honest but the place was pretty empty when we got here for a 9 pm dinner. We counted the money and then paid in cash. The waiter took the money away and a minute... My husband and I stopped in here for tapas one afternoon. They serve a wide variety with generous portions. A large menu of typical Spanish offerings is also available. The outdoor terrace looked inviting but we chose to sit at the sunny bar inside with the friendly bartender. We recommend this place

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
