What a great spot! Some of the best tapas in Barcelona - we went three times over our 5 day stay in Barcelona. The service is phenomenal and the place has a great vibe. We will most definitely return when we are in Barcelona again!

Excellent tapas and sustainable products. Plan to wait as it's super popular. Best patatas bravas I've ever had.

Very good food, fresh and appetising. Very busy - reservation needed. Staff very pleasant and accommodating, will definitely come back.

This is a really pleasant bar/restaurant. Decor is unusual but pleasant, very nice friendly staff. The menu isnt big but there were several dishes I fancied. Chose the pork with apple and parsnip puree and it was delish. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and we would...go back next timeMore

We were recommended this place on a walking tour and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Well priced drinks and varied menu. Really busy place with friendly staff and some of the best tapas we’ve eaten.

Only minus (but a big one) is the arrogant and unfriendly staff. Ready to throw you out as soon as your dedicated time (2 hours) is over. Food is good, not exceptional, and the place is small, intimate and cozy. Many tourists as the guides...often mention this place. I wouldn't visit again with so many excellent options for great tapas in Barcelona.More

Having travelled a fair bit and eaten at some Michelin star restaurants , I feel qualified to claim that this is the best food I’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. It’s a hidden gem. Booking is essential. The staff are helpful and friendly and...there is a relaxed vibe. This is all about taste. Our pictures do not do justice to this fantastic little place. Cannot recommend highly enough. Absolutely amazing. If you’re in Barcelona, do not miss this place.More

Great tapas bar; really good food and atmosphere. Very popular place so recommended popping in the day before to secure a booking as it’s clearly very popular.

This was a fantastic find on Carrer Montcada in the Gothic Quarter, just by the Picasso museum. There were four of us (two Spanish) who went for lunch and it was brilliant - excellent food and very good food indeed, some of the best we...had while in Barcelona. Highly recommended. It is busy - obviously - but can't see the problem with having to wait outside for a few minutes. Staff v friendly.More

There are certainly hundreds of tapas bars to choose from in Barcelona, but this one is a real gem. Delicious, high-quality food, creatively prepared. The staff were super helpful in helping us make our selections and curl clearly passionate about their craft. They feature a...nice selection of natural wines.More

Shameful service. We turned up and asked for a table and were abruptly told to "WAIT AT THE DOOR!" while the rude waitress checked the reservations. We were then told we could take a seat - we really felt like we were there under suffferance....We were thrown a laminate menu for food and drink. The food menu was expensive with tinned garlic mushrooms on offer for 19 euros! The wine list was mostly French wine and averaged about 35 euros for a bottle. We left without ordering. I would recommend anywhere else.More

I cannot tell you how rude the staff were: From the person who takes your name down all the way to the waitresses (there were three for some reason) who all essentially shouted at us for the entirety of our time there. We got to...the restaurant without reservation. This apparently is a crime of the highest level. After much tut-tuting and being made to feel like the low lifes we apparently were, we were told that it would take at least 45 mins. We should have left but friends told us that it was worth the wait, so we waited. Folks who arrived seconds after us were shooed away like an unwanted neighbourhood cat. They left deflated, not knowing they were spared an evening of ever higher degrees of rudeness. 40 mins in, I had the audacity to check whether we were closer to getting a table. “Get out and wait outside!” came the scream from the maitress d’ who spent her time braiding and re-braiding her hair in between shouting at customers. Again, we should have left at this point, but it became a bit of a sport for us, to see just how bad it could get. And it did. We ordered glasses of red wine. Waitress 2 came with a bottle of white. When we politely said we ordered red and not white and glasses, not a whole bottle, she rolled her eyes before returning with a barely drinkable red. We did not complain. When we had questions about the menu, waitresses 1 and 3 could barely feign interest in our question. With the exception of the patatas bravas, the food was dismal, swimming with oil. I used to think I’d never had a croquettes I didn’t like… until last night. The chicken one was inedible. The spinach one was tasteless. Half way through our meal, we had enough and asked for the bill. Oddly that was the only time waitresses 1, 2 and 3 deemed it necessary to talk to us like human beings. I guess they were hoping for a big tip. They did not get one. In my more charitable moments, I could see that this place could have been charming once. With the right staff and a revamped menu, I could also see that it can regain its lost glory days. But until then, I would say avoid avoid avoid!More

Amazing tapas and really busy place. Even if it was packed with guests the service was good. Some of the tapas are really brilliant.

Food unbelievable. Drinks amazing. Service brilliant. Ask for Mario and have whatever he suggests - he’s brilliant. If I lived in Barcelona you’d struggle to keep me away. Do yourself a favour and go.
