The food is great we had 16 dishes between a group of 8 and there was not one dud the wine list is excellent. It is very small so book or queue. Definitely worth a visit

Great little restaurant with seating either along a bar or tables in the back which are quieter and more comfortable to talk and eat. Food was flavoursome and sangria very good. Octopus stuffed with vegetables, leek with tapenade, grilled pork ribs. All great. 6-7 dishes for 4 people is just enough for lunch. Recommend this buzzy area of El Born... More

This is tapas with a modern look. Delicious dishes with unusual content or familiar in new context, e.g. Black pudding and fried egg. Nice wines and good service. It's small so book in advance.

Had been to Tapeo on 2 previous visits and was always very impressed by the quality of the dishes. This time brought a few colleagues and it did not disappoint - staff, food and wine all excellent! The meat dishes in particular were really special - highly recommend the mini burger, lamb and ribs. Thanks again Tapeo - my favourite... More

My husband and I visited Tapeo on recommendation from our friends and we were not disappointed. The food and wine was sensational. The 'steak tartare' was to die for and even though I was reluctant to order the 'beef burger with foie & Bordeaux mushroom mayonnaise' (as it seemed very untraditional) it was one of our favourites. You will most... More

Can't imagine any better tapas anywhere! Such a wonderful combination of flavours with each dish excelling in both flavour and presentation. We enjoyed every dish we ordered including the highly recommended hamburger. We had the version with foie gras and it was amazing. As far as we see it, there is no wrong choice on the menu of Tapeo. The... More

Attentive staff. Small and cosy restaurant. We were a little worried when we first looked at the menu on the board because it was all in Spanish (naturally!) and we had two vegetarians in our group. But, the waiter supplied a card with English translations and pictures to make choosing easier. The food was deliciously flavoursome and reasonably priced. We... More
