We both ordered seafoood. The food was quite good but the portions were small. So order a starter or you'll be left hungry. The staff were friendly but they seemed a bit harried and understaffed the night we went for dinner. The average price for a dish was around 9-12 euros. Good house wine.

Food is not bad, but also nothing special. The staff was really unfriendly, which is not something I would have expected from such a nice looking place. Can't recommend anyone to go there.

Setting lovely, restaurant looks fine but the food was not great. The salmon had not only been grilled, it had been interrogated. Served with a purée of some description, couldn't tell you what it was. The ravioli was terrible - so little filing (you would have been hard pushed to tell it was meat) in what was tortellini and a... More

Lovely staff and quick service but disappointing food.. very basic, didn't taste great - apart from the oysters.

I joined a party of 37 people in the private dining room located upstairs with a view over the Placa. Service was good and we enjoyed a selection of Tapas followed by a choice of either a fish or meat main course. I opted for the fish, Tuna steak, which was very good. Highly recommend the restaurant for a group... More

I generally limit visits to restaurants to once in the trip to allow for more diversified fun. Yet during the week's stay in Barcelona i couldn't resist having a Second visit to Marisco. The extravaganza of the seafood platter for two was remarkable... if you have enough appetite, this should not be missed.

By far the most uniteressting kitchen so far - like a take away dinner of the most uninspiring kind. The square is wonderful, which Mariscco benefits from - but apart from that the ONLY positive experience was the truly lovely servant Lorna Rodeles from the Philippines, who had the surplus to deliver a good and welcoming service in spite of... First, this company operates two restaurants, both with similar names, menus and located in heavily touristed areas! We had dinner at their restaurant in the Eixample district: MARISQUERIA MARISCCO CORSEGA, on Corsega 272. Their other restaurant, with similar name is at Placa Reial 8. So back to the place on Corsega. I can only rate it average, and my review... More

Was looking forward to a last special meal after a lovely city break. Was persuaded to try the restaurant by a lovely friendly waiter. Decided to eat inside. Well presented thought we had made a good choice for our last meal. Sadly no. I ordered a seafood pasta starter. Very disappointed when it arrived..one prawn..4 mussles ..2 empty and verly... More

Decided to have a drink here before dinner, however the minute we sat down they were over with the dinner menus. Even though we said we were having a drink more waiters asked us if we had decided what we wanted to eat. The restaurant itself looked nice and there was a display of fresh seafood on display. We decided... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
