If you´re looking for a place to eat paella with the locals, this is the place. Any kind you want, they have about 30 different types of rices. At Barceloneta, facing the marina. Worth the visit!

Thanking to Tripadvisor, I've booked for a romantic dinner in front of Barcelona port: lovely position and good food, served by kind and prepared waiters. Visited one evening at Easter and sat inside so no view of the Marina and plastic tables and chairs. Ordered different paellas but concluded that the speed they arrived there must be a large vat of rice already cooked and they just add the extras.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
