Service and food were beyond extraordinary! Every course of the tasting menu was a true revelation and expertly prepared. Worth every penny!

My partner and I had a fantastic tasting menu experience. Every course was delicious and satisfying. The waitress recommended a tasty cava and a nice Chardonnay to go along with the 10 course tasting menu. The pumpkin soup with red curry was out of this world. The food is clever, playful, and appetizing.

really nothing special. very small portions and slow service so the 5 course menu feels like a walk in the desert with a few oasis. small but also understaffed, poor table setup. we required a vegeterian menu and were served a dish with something suspect. when asked if it was meat, we were replied "well no, it's chicken". offered another... As a group we eat out a lot and had read reviews of this restaurant. Go for the longer tasting menu the portions you are eating are very light. We all thought the food was creative , excellent fusion cuisine. The waitress was extremely attentive . We were very impressed with the wine list and the mark up was very... More

We have had some experience with top restaurants and Gelonch, although perhaps not as well-known, is definitely up there. We had the Killa degustation and it was wonderful. Each course (I think about 12 in all) was very well put together and the flavours were exquisite. It was a special meal in a special place. The price is on par... More

I really wanted to 'wow' this restaurant, as a chef running a small 'fusion' restaurant deserves supporting, but our meal fell short of the standard that I am sure the chef aspires to. We took the short (5 course) tasting menu; a wonderful start with the jicama taco, followed by the rabbit roll, which was good but the filling was... More

We had the 5 item tasting menu. Each dish was well conceived, beautiful to look at, lovely combination of textures and flavors. Simply a pleasure. Also, we asked for wine pairings. Again, these were affordable and exceptional. Compared with many prix fix menus of this ilk, it is a great bargain for an artful and truly delicious meal.

Visited this restaurant for dinner and took the tasting menu, it was excellent. The restaurant is small and basic but the lady serving does a great job of making you feel welcome. I recommend anyone who likes good food with no big show to definitely visit this place.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
