We had the daily menu, which had three courses including a drink for 15e, which I think is average in this area. It was pretty quiet at the time we visited (around 2 p.m.). The food was tasty, and the waitress was polite and helpful.

I think this place is more for the locals than for the tourists. The menu is very authentic, well very Catalan-Like I guess. So it wasnt No Surprise that hardly noone has a good command of english, eventhough its located at the corner of the fame architecture building 'Mercado de Santa Catarina'. You'd get a wide range of Appetizers, Main... More

We went there for lunch after our jont through the ramblas and the waterfront area that are full of restaurants catering to tourists with atypical menus and high prices. The restaurant has a Trip Advisor rating of 4.7 and truly lives up to that. Soft lighting and colorful place settings create a very inviting ambience. The owner tended to us... More

Very ordinary and standard food. I believe it was a waste of meal. The waiters were very kind and friendly though.

Found this restaurant ny accident whilst exploring the small streets of the gothic quarter. Staff were polite and welcoming. Food was great and at a good price. Only downside was the 3 British male tourists who were also visiting Their language and attitude was appalling, one was trying the squid, which he clearly did not like. Duely set about condemning... We came across this place on the way to the Rambla. Very reasonably-priced set lunch (10,80 euros) which included starter, main, dessert, drink and bread. No hidden extras, good food and very good service. Highly recommend!

I love Safra 18. I make it a point to eat here every time I am in Barcelona. The food is very traditional Catalan food, expertly prepared, and truly exceptional. The service is very friendly and attentive, and while a bit pricey, it is very much worth it.

We had two excellent dinners. The Catalan food was delicious. (particularly the Catalan pasta). We had a good Rioja.
