Cannot fault this place and I am in shock as to why it is ranked so far behind others in the same area within Barcelona! We walked in here free a few cocktails down the way and were seated immediately. The decor in this place alone was a win for me. It's so lovely! Even though it was late we... More

I stop by chance and there were nobody in the restaurant than me and few other people. they wanted place me outside to attire more people but I insisted to be inside to avoid the sun. I order and appetizer and main course . The salad that came with the appetizer was enough for 4 people and everything else was... More

We normally avoid tourist-trap grids like those surrounding the marina but needed a small lunch before finishing our bike ride and our last dinner in Barcelona this trip. We walked the marina checking menus and prices, ignoring the pushy spruikers We were engaged a female spruiker outside El Tinglado. We asked about the seafood since the menu looked mainly fried... A friend from Barcelona actually told us about this place and we loved it! The paella was amazing and so was the sangria! Our server was super nice and funny, we really had an amazing time! Lots of people having fun, truly a cheerful place. Loved it and we'll be back when in Barcelona.

While in Barcelona, we asked a few different individuals in different settings for recommendations on a good seafood restaurant by the water. When each of them told us to try Moncho's, we figured this team must be doing something right if they are so well-liked across the board. Well, before I review the restaurant, I must provide a prélude on... More

The food was not good and the service even worse, we refused to pay the full bill, staff got really rude but manager stepped in, he was reasonable and we agreed a reduction. I should have checked Trip advisor in advance rather than after the event!

Lots of choice in the Port and Barcelona itself. However if you want to go up market without going too far then this is the place. Very comfortable and a fine place to have lunch. Beware the "Tapas" is a medium plate here rather than a small one so do not order too much to start with. Fish obviously a... More

El Tinglado confirms its peculiarity. It's a nice and smart place to end a work day or evening eating a good quality fresh food. It's a guarantee.

We had a great time getting out of the rain sipping a lovely bottle of red wine and overeating on a pan of Valencian Paella. Total bill for Paella for 2 and a bottle of wine was only 37€. Very reasonable for the quality.

Me and my husband went to the Port Olympic for a walk by the beach one day back. The evening was beautiful and we ended up dining here. Their outdoor seating area had cozy couches with light blue patterned cushions, which were pretty and eye catching. We decided to try Paella for the 1st time. The staffs were very polite... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
