Nice small restaurant. First time we ate there we sat inside. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Given the quality we were surprised how inexpensive it was compared to other places we had eaten. Came back and enjoyed tapas outside. Wonderful food, good wine and attentive staff. Definitely recommend it.

Within this understated restaurant you'll find some really special; food. The menu is a choice between Tapas dishes or Main Meals (the mains generally being served after 7pm) We made several hungry vsits to this little temple of delights, first sampling a divine Duck with Mango Chutney and then returning another day for a selection of Tapas. The friendly and... More

Modest, unpretentious restaurant, nothing fancy. But the food.....wow! Real calamares, not dipped heavily in bat, super tasty homemade guacamole. We had the duck, a tender taste explosion, and the grilled meat-so tender you could've eaten it with a spoon. Generous portions and modestly priced. Wine glasses were filled to the brim. An easygoing atmosphere and a charming neighbourhood. Definitely recommend... More

I was very disappointed with the choice of menu. Kangaroo for 2 of the choice . Maybe better for more an adventurous person . Only thing j could eat was steak but it was beautiful . Staff very friendly and surrounding area lovely for a look around .

The food was excellent and the staff were fun! We had tapas which was all freshly made. The dishes change do no point in me saying which one we loved the most - just ask Brendan for his recommendation!

The best patatas bravas we had in Spain. The spicy chorizo was exquisite. The sangria was phenomenal. Can't go wrong here. And the atmosphere is great! Small though so make a reservation ahead of time!

We gave this place a go on our last night in the city as it had been recommended earlier in the week by one of our tour guides. The food was tasty but just average. The portions were not as generous as we had elsewhere and early in the evening they had run out of the fish of the day.... More

Came in initially to avoid the rain with a glass of cava and was so impressed with the great service we came back for dinner and certainly didn't regret it. Wonderful Tapas and Beef for main, great wine and superb relaxed and friendly service. Would recommend and visit again!

After reading reviews on trip advisor we decided to visit this restaurant. Compering with other places that we knew in Barcelona this was faaaaar better. Also more expensive, but not extreamly expencive.... Whatever you choose you will not miss, even the simple potato there, is fantastic and somehow special! Save some room for the desert! You must not miss it!

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
