I took my boyfriend here for a birthday meal whilst we were staying in Barcelona, and wow is the only word I can use to describe it. First of all the setting of the restaurant is beautiful, even at night time the view over the pool and the sea was lovely, secondly the service is some of the best service... More

Visited as a hotel guest 2.5,6,7,8.2017 Stayed at the W Hotel for a working week in Barcelona.usually never frequent hotel bars or restaurants but this was different. The staff attention to detail at this restaurant is amazing. The food is good but the working staff both at breakfast, dinner and in the lounge is truly exceptional. They are polite and... More

With the amazing sunsets out over the ocean, the mood lighting on the main balcony, the water feature so beautifully lit, the urban sounds of the W playing as the backdrop, there is no better place to sit back, unwind and enjoy a cocktail with your closest friends and share a cheers to any occasion. The range of finger foods... More

Have been a group of 15 persons to this restaurant. We experienced good food but it was really a strange atmosphere at the place. It's a kind of "Miami Vice" over the place. Really loud music from the bar that made it quite hard to talk. Service was not bad but not either impressive good.

There were 16 of us at the Wave restaurant for our work xmas dinner. The service was really bad, I had to constantly ask for wine and they would forget half the time. Rude staff who seemed too stressed. The main course was absolutely terrible! I had the beef fillet, but could have used a chainsaw to cut and then... More

We planed to go at WET pool bar but close due to rain, ended up at WAVE and that was just a 10, cool service W style with modern food but not too fancy, fine atmosphere. We moved to the lounge after and had a digestive by the fire pit, definitely a superb experience.

We spent about an hour-and-half here eating our way through the taster menu which was 7 courses, and bought for us as a gift. The food was excellent and the venue was pleasant and relaxing. The courses varied through a mixture of soup, seafood, veg and meat. The Veal was outstanding as the penultimate dish. We were chuffed with the... More

The staff are smart, very friendly, approachable and I enjoyed every conversation. Every question asked was met by enthusiasm and commitment never seen in the hotel.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
