Lovely bakery - try the coconut macaroons

Crusto is a lovely place for breakfast. Their almond croissants are fantastic but the highlight is their coconut macaroons - totally delicious and more-ish. You can't just have one. Staff are lovely as well.

We lived just 5 meters away from this amazing place. The stuff is welcoming, food is outstanding. So many types of bread bakery and pastries - too hard to decide what to pick)) you need at least two times visit to define your favorites! Must visit)

We stopped into Crusto for breakfast. The previous bakery we frequented during our visit to Barcelona a few years ago had changed, so we needed a new favorite bakery and we found it in Crusto! We stopped in for a fresh and easy breakfast on our way to La Sagrada Familia. We both had the quiche (egg, artichoke, and onion)... More

Really good place to have a refreshing and a delicious lunch during summer days. There are numerous kind of salads and also a huge number of sandwiches and appetizing things such quiche and salad cake. It isn't an expensive place and with only €9,99 you can eat a complete lunch composed by two dishes and a dessert.

Delicious, delightful, memorable... are the words that come to mind when I think of Crusto. If you visit, do get the Tarta de Poma Carameliti (apple tart with caramel) and the Ensaimda. Or try anything else, and please ask if they have considered opening a location in San Francisco

Stopped by in late afternoon for a sweet snack and were more than pleased with not only the delicious treats, but as much so with the excellent service. We will return

We stopped here for orange juice, breakfast and coffee and it was really delicious, you can see the bakery in the back as you sit and sip your coffee. Lovely pastries, bread and sandwiches/croissants.

After suffering a string of poor service at a variety of restaurants, Crusto was a breath of fresh air. The 9.99 meal deal was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it so much, we returned the following day even though it meant travelling across the city to get there.

We had the 9.99 Euro lunch deal twice here during our stay. It included a huge salad, quiche, cake and drink. Excellent value and extremely tasty. Highly recommended.

Back in Barcelona and this was our first stop for breakfast as we loved this place last time we were here. Crusto is a great bakery, selling all manner of pastries and cakes. There are a few tables inside and a couple outside. Great chocolate fondant cake and the savoury dishes look fantastic as well. Always a favourite which we'll... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
