Wonderful start of the day. Lovely pastries, aromatic coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Couldn't resist going back for lunch. Really tasty sour dough base pizzetta. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stylish place. Were told has just been renovated and must say they hit the nail in the head! Not to be missed.

We were there after being recommended that it would be "the best bakery in Barcelona. Certainly, it isn't, it's a nice place with great ambience to have some really good and well made bread in company of friends. For me is too expensive for the quality of the bread (which is above average) and what you will value the most... More

If you are up early in Barcelona and looking for breakfast, the pickings can be slim. This place serves lovely breakfast pastry and breads and a fine cappuccino. Friendly service, too.

Crusto is a lovely place for breakfast. Their almond croissants are fantastic but the highlight is their coconut macaroons - totally delicious and more-ish. You can't just have one. Staff are lovely as well.

We lived just 5 meters away from this amazing place. The stuff is welcoming, food is outstanding. So many types of bread bakery and pastries - too hard to decide what to pick)) you need at least two times visit to define your favorites! Must visit)

We stopped into Crusto for breakfast. The previous bakery we frequented during our visit to Barcelona a few years ago had changed, so we needed a new favorite bakery and we found it in Crusto! We stopped in for a fresh and easy breakfast on our way to La Sagrada Familia. We both had the quiche (egg, artichoke, and onion)... More

Really good place to have a refreshing and a delicious lunch during summer days. There are numerous kind of salads and also a huge number of sandwiches and appetizing things such quiche and salad cake. It isn't an expensive place and with only €9,99 you can eat a complete lunch composed by two dishes and a dessert.

Delicious, delightful, memorable... are the words that come to mind when I think of Crusto. If you visit, do get the Tarta de Poma Carameliti (apple tart with caramel) and the Ensaimda. Or try anything else, and please ask if they have considered opening a location in San Francisco

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
