Situated between our hotel, the Suizo, near Jaume 1 metro station and the Plaza Sant Jaume, with the 2 big local government buildings on it, on Llibreteria 7, this gelati parlour was an excellent find. The staff were friendly & you can try 1 flavour...on a little spoon when you're choosing. We all loved our flavours, I had tiramisu, my husband a type of rum baba & cheesecake & I can't remember what our son had but it was delicious too. There were lots of great flavours but unfortunately we didn't get to go again, we would definitely recommend it.More

One of the best, if not the best, ice creams in Barcelona, located in the Gotic Square. Highly recommended

How is this not the most highly rated gelato place in the city?! I tried 3 in Barcelona and this was the clear winner. Creativity and originality with the flavors. Execution on those flavors and textures. Good customer service. Great location. Only downside is the...price being a little more, but you get what you pay for. Easy 5*More

The gelati here is as good as in Italy, possibly even better. So smooth and very flavorful. It was the best we tasted in Barcelona. I can highly recommend the pistachio and the peanut cream. These are both in the gold range so you pay...a bit extra. So worth the extra 50c.More

I always come back to this place to get my mind blown by how good their ice cream is. It's soooo so so so good! Only thing missing is a good place to sit outside and eat it. We always run to the stairs in...front of the Cathedral to eat it, with some loss. Staff is very friendly btw.More

This gelateria has the widest range of flavours available to vegan/ dairy free people I have seen yet. I am low FODMAP and I was amazed at the flavours I could have including: rice milk ice cream with pistachio, orange confit and dark chocolate and...a second flavour of a cherry confit (small amount to fit for low fodmap) caramelised peanuts and dark chocolate - it is the best ice cream I’ve had in ages! The staff were also lovely! Thank you!More

We tried a couple of the flavors and we loved the creativity of the ice cream ( some of them where really interesting). The staff was nice and the place small, but cozy. We'll return when we come again in Barcelona:)

This was the only dining/food place I visited more than once while I was in Barcelona. What more can I say? Just try it. Yes, some of the flavours cost more. But, don't worry, they are worth it!

We purchased two medium-sized ice cream bowls from Gelaaati Di Marco. The ice cream was so flavourful and tasty - probably the best ice cream I've ever tasted! The two bowls came to $9.00 which is decently priced for the size and quality of the...ice cream. Please open a shop in the UK, I need more!More

I'm Italian and even if I have been living in the UK for 15 years and I got used to eat even American deep-pan stuffed-crust pizza, I'm very picky as far as gelato and I tend to eat it only when I am in Italy....However I was in Barcelona for a holiday and it was warm, and I really wanted ice cream... I wasn't disappointed. I definitely recommend it. Delicious :)More

Delicious Italian gelato! They have a variety of tastes, including originals as chocolate but also more exciting and different flavors like cheesecake and peanut cream. Some options are vegan, gluten free or suger free as well! I would highly recommend trying this place.

Yes, I believe they have a few non diary options (mainly fruit flavors). I am not sure about sugar free.
