Stopped here by chance to have a drink after a long day sightseeing. So pleased we found it! We ordered the tacos and they were absolutely delicious, super simple yet full of flavour. One of the nicest we’ve had. We also ordered some sangria and...this was great too. Friendly staff and a really relaxed, cool vibe. If we’re ever in Barcelona again we’ll certainly re-visit!More

Stumbled upon this and tried it based on the fact it was so busy! Well worth the try; great food, great atmosphere, cocktails looked amazing. A funky little place I would highly recommend.

Stumbled upon this little gem after walking around the harbour area. Such a great place, the food was delicious! I had the vegetarian burrito and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Beautiful sangria too. Would definitely recommend. The staff were very polite...and attentive too.More

Carabela Cafe rocks! Lee Courchesne, a Canadian ex-pat, runs the terrace with more beautiful women per square meter. Remember the Icelandic Sagas about Valhalla? Well then, If you are a reader maybe you do. Just in case, is Heaven in Nordic version. And in this...incredible portion of Valhalla, under a warm sun from the first light until the very last one, and delighted by a sea breeze coming from the spectacular Marina, you can order a full brunch and hang out, amazed by the ride of the Valkyries. Oh boy! They have amazing smoothies with a sensational touch of ginger. But my girlfriend chose crispy nachos and fresh guacamole, and a spectacular salad, with a glass of Spanish white wine, a cold Verdejo. She is from a rainy Portland and does not believe her random discovery. Noon in Barcelona on April 17th, and we are blessed. She really loves this terrace, and we promise to come back soon. What a lark! I am deeply in debt! What sort of dream is this, Lee? I arouse the dead warriors, bade Valkyries rise up, to strew the bench, scour the beakers, wine to carry, so glad is my heart.More

Great atmosphere. Perfect little cafe down by the harbour. Staff really friendly. Yummy food bug portions. Menus all on the wall. Outside seating but when it gets a bit cool they put out heaters.

It's mainly outside. There are a few seats inside. It's a small "dive" place, I doubt they take advance reservations. Best sangria I have ever had!
