We arrived tired from travelling but everything was a unique experience. They proposed us to visit the cellar and they explained how they class the wines. The terrace was even nicer but it was still cold at nights.

This is one of the finest dining experiences I've had. Firstly, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Heavily influenced towards wine, private dining rooms and wine libraries line the entrance and lead you into a wonderful dining room. We booked a table on the terrace at the back of the restaurant, which is a brilliant place to dine on a warm... More

I popped in here by chance while exploring Barcelona. There is a casual area in front for tapas and wine. Both were very good

I heard a lot about this bar. Well. They are very kind but the service is not OK. They made some nice food but I think two expensive considering the size of the plates. Still hungry after starter, first and main. They have a lot of wine on the list, but I think too expensive. We had a corked Burgundy,... More

We were there as a larger group - prefixed dinner with wine. Super service - competent and very professional service. Nice location - if you are a wine lover you have to visit this place.

Service was ok, wine was good, but the food was average. We were excited to go to our first Michelin star restaurant, but after this experience we will be happy with spending half the amount we did on an authentic local restaurant. We were seated near the glassed wall next to the kitchen so we were able to watch the... More

Amazingly good restaurant, with a wine list beyond belief. I had such a good experience there, I went back a second time. All the dishes were amazing - superb produce and flavours of great intensity. Extremely helpful sommelier, who could be trusted with sound reliable advice. The wine writer Jancis Robinson said one should spend as much of one's life... More

Had dinner for two. Food was good, but not more than that. But the winelist is amazing. So much to try, from all over the world. We started with upper level Gramona cava and stayed with Spanish wines. The maitre d'hotel was French and she was an old school pro, just spot on! The room is airy, big and welcoming.... More

I had checked this one out in the Lonely Planet book before visiting and we weren't disappointed. The enthusiasm and knowledge of the staff was uplifting and relaxing at the same time. The restaurant was lovely and made for a lovely evening on our last couple of days in Spain. Would highly recommend!

Perfect place to round off weekend visit. Attention to detail, good service and fantastic food and wine in special setting outside. Nice touches to mark this as a birthday dinner.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
