Excellent corner restaurant which is always fully booked! Make sure you have a reservation. Simple food, great service, very reasonable prices, funky decor and cute waiters!!!
We tried to eat here on a Sunday night.. they were fully booked till 10p so we made a reservation for 7:30p on a Monday and upon arrival they were still busy and turning tables.
Excellent - we will be back

We came here twice. Both times food was great! The first time the waiter seemed aloof and disinterested in us. He didn’t make eye contact. However this time was delightful! We were sat outside in the buzzing street, with a lovely breeze. The waiter Mariano was truly wonderful and told us about his life in a Argentina and his visit to London. He was engaged, fun and attentive! The chef also came out and wanted to check we were happy with everything. The pizzas here are the best! So much choice and you can pick two flavours. The price is good and the drinks and wine is well priced. This place is buzzing and the decor and ambiance is the best in the area. Desserts were delicious too! A great place near our hotel and was perfect when you are tired of tapas.

Very good food, experience that I will definitely repeat. We tried 8 pizza flavors and they were all great not to talk about how friendly the waiters are, we were attended by Diego who realized that everything was correct. In total the experience 10/10
For dessert we ask for the 500 sheets (1000 sheets).

If you understand anything about Italian cuisine, you definitely shouldn’t come here. Let's start with focaccio... it's not exactly what you'd expect, it's a piece of pizza without toppings, although you can't argue that in the southern regions of Italy this option is sometimes found, but less and less often, it would be nice to warn about it. The waiters don't speak Italian at all, and the dishes on the menu are normally written in Italian, but they don't understand the names. The ravioli were terrible, there was 4 times more dough than filling. And all this was not chewed at all, I understand that it was al dente, but not to the same extent. Capellaci ripeni capes is also a slightly different dish than what is served here. But the establishment is terribly popular, and for me, as a person who has traveled almost all of Italy, this causes sincere misunderstanding.

Antonio was our waiter and was awesome. We had no reservations and two teenagers trying to stay awake as we struggled with travel time adjustments. Antonio was able to provide a table outside for four at 9pm. He rushed an appetizer and drinks out for the kids and made what could and should have been a stressful disaster into a wonderful, relaxed, pleasant time together with family. The supli with meat ragú, at Antonio’s suggestion, was delicious and got the girls, who are picky eaters, to dive right in and enjoy their meals. We each had a pasta entre and all were delicious. The food was delivered all at the same time and cooked to our preferences. Small wine list, but well-priced, high quality wines with per glass options on a great italian wines my wife had a glasss of negroamaro rose and I a glass of montepulciano. This experience was like getting a surprise extra 30 minutes of the best massage you ever had for free. Friendly smiles, warm lighting, great food and wine. Thank you!

Actually, no point worth.
Had wanted to celebrate my birthday there today, because of the good reviews I chose this restaurant. We made a reservation.
Once in the restaurant, we were assigned the table and the menu laid out, otherwise no communication from the waiters. We were ready to order after a short time. We waited 30min before a waiter came to the table (but only because we are eye-catching). There were 5 waiters in the restaurant to see which did not seem particularly busy and the restaurant was not yet particularly well attended at 7.45pm. The guests who came after us, even those next to tables already received their drinks and these have not reserved. After we wanted to leave, the waiter told us he had only just started work, and hushed up, no excuse or insight.
Disappointing to start an evening on his birthday like this. Very bad for this experience, from a restaurant with supposedly good reviews. Probably the restaurant does not need this.

First dinner out in Barcelona and this restaurant hit the spot!
Started with a basket of focaccia and the salad of tuna, chick peas and greens...fresh and tasty.
Then the gnocchi with meat ragu and the capelacci filled with scallops and shrimp in a full body tomato sauce...both were delicious!
Had a nice Tuscan sangiovese bottle that paired nicely with our choices.
The quality was excellent and a great value at €70 made the dinner outing even better! We'll be back for sure.

Outstanding!! Went late (for Americans) - the line was a few people long at 9:30 pm so made a reservation on TheFork for 10:15 pm and grabbed a drink at neighborhood spot to kill time. Had pizza and cacio e pepe with artichokes. Perfection in every bite. We got cappuccino and espresso for dessert and asked for off menu gelato - GET THE GELATO. Specifically the chocolate which is decadent with tiny bits of chocolate shavings in it (almost like frozen Nutella bits but not quite). This plus drinks for under 60€ - cannot be beat. We will be back!!

We visited Le Romane on a Sunday and were looked after as soon as we walked in. The service was super friendly and efficient. We had three suppli and mozzarella bites, both were crunchy and tasty although the mozzarella bites are tiny so would give a miss for €3. The focaccia was nice but very flat. The carbonara, spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti pomodoro were really tasty.
We revisited on a Wednesday and were not greeted in the same manner unfortunately. The food also was not as good, all dishes were very salty. I would recommend avoiding the gnocchi completely as it was essentially mashed potato. A shame but the first time we visited was brilliant.

Great dinner experience, excellent atmosphere in the restaurant, friendly staff, high quality of food, very recommended. It's the first time I've been famous for my apple, but we think pizza is better, and it's the best pizza I've ever had on this trip to western Portugal. The dessert recommended by the waitress was also very surprised, the taste was very good, the sale was creative, very worth recommending to friends.

We had heard great things about chef Renato and Loredana’s Barcelona restaurant Le Romane, renowned for serving quality dishes honouring the traditional Roman concept of sharing food with Italian authenticity, so we had to pay a visit.
This beautifully lit and tastefully appointed restaurant was absolutely buzzing on a Tuesday evening, and although fully booked, we were delighted that Loredana was able to find us a fantastic table in the window.
As well as offering a wide variety of innovative Pizza flavours to share, Le Romane serves Roman dishes such as Bucatini all'Amatriciana, Spaghetti quadrati Cacio e Pepe, Spaghetti alla Carbonara and many more.
We started our meal with Patate Al Cartoccio; baked potato with artichokes and cream cheese, and a basket of freshly baked Focaccia, perfect for mopping up the delicious sauce. We also had a refreshing Insalate Caprese with ripe tomatoes, mozzarella di buffala , and fragrant basil.
We then had some wonderful Gnocchi, vibrantly green with courgette & mint, and an equally tasty Risotto, piquant with radicchio and gorgonzola.
And as a tribute to the Sagrada Familia, with its towering shards of flaky millefeuille pastry reaching for the sky, the “Dolci Le Romane” is a triumph and not to be missed.
Le Romane is recognised by Ospitalità Italiana as an ambassador of Italian flavour, and it’s not hard to see why. It was a pleasure to meet chef and proprietor Renato and to enjoy the wonderful cuisine at this Barcelona gem.

I am in Barcelona for work and was craving a decent Italian meal. I found this place on google maps showing some restaurants not far from my hotel.
I had studied abroad in Italy years ago, and come from NY. This was legitimately some of the best pizza I've ever had and the service (by Diego) and other friendly staff did not disappoint. The restaurant had great ambiance as well (they even accept AMEX which is not easy to find everywhere in Europe as many fellow American's know).
I would absolutely go back and recommend for anyone to take a special trip to this restaurant when in Barcelona. You will not be disappointed!

Very nice restaurant, good atmosphere, lively service. It is absolutely necessary to book, even with a reservation we waited 20 minutes. The concept is nice, we order portions of pizza that arrive on sharing boards. It's good but not extraordinary in terms of taste

Very nice place. Young and friendly staff. Italian or Roman cuisine, from suppli to pinsa. The pizza, or rather the pinsa, is served at the cutting board with 2 or 4 flavors, from the single cost, very good and crispy with excellent ingredients. Friendly service (especially Thomas) and prompt. A little truly Italian corner in Barcelona. Recommended

We had made a reservation for a Saturday and upon arrival, no problem at all. Two couples went to eat and I can only say that everything was very good. The food was delicious and the waiting time between dishes was normal, like in any restaurant. We didn't get to try the pizza, because we opted for the salads and risottos, which were delicious, especially the one with pumpkin that David recommended to us, a very nice guy to deal with, who was the one who took our order and He cleared up any doubts about the different dishes and made sure that everything was to our liking. Also the waiter who served the table was very friendly.
We hope to return again.
