Delicious Indian food both vegetarian and meat option. Very friendly and accommodating when spoken Spanish was poor.

It took forever till we received our meal. We had better experiences with food in Barcelona. I have ordered goat cheese salad which was OK. Nothing special.

My husband and I stayed in Barcelona centre for a couple of days on our way back to the UK from a break in Sitges. On our last night we walked to La Rambla for dinner but couldn't find everything we were looking for. Restaurant reviews were either good service, bad food or vice versa (more of the former!) -... This restaurant was recommended by a family friend and it did not disappoint, the food was tasty and inexpensive, make sure you go with a hefty appetite, as we selected five of the tapas and could not finish our plates, the portions were huge. This is well with a visit as it is only 5 minutes from Las Rambla

Found this place while wandering away from the crowds at the food market. Went for the fixed tapas menu which was very nice and very reasonably priced. Worth a visit for lunch.

Walking down the street and came across this place. Outside seating and inside as well. 2 kids 3 adults...yummy. Chicken Tikka Tandoori, Tempura Chicken and assorted plates were awesome. Very authentic tasting. Hummus was homemade without too much garlic, just the way we like like it.

If you are looking for value for money and want to sit outside, this place is a safe bet, but they do charge 10% extra for the privilege. Very good service and reasonable quality tapas, salads and pizzas. Drink prices aren't over the top either.

Not far from La Rambla, but much quieter. Sat outside, though they do charge a 10% fee for this. Better level of food than many of these cafes. Relatively peaceful. Friendly and prompt service and delicious Sangria.

We were looking for a different restaurant but stumbled across this one and decided to give it a go instead. We chose to sit inside - terrace is really a street corner and inside had air conditioning. Food was fresh and we didn't have to wait too long. The staff were very attentive. My fish in tempura was a little... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
