Walking down the street and came across this place. Outside seating and inside as well. 2 kids 3 adults...yummy. Chicken Tikka Tandoori, Tempura Chicken and assorted plates were awesome. Very authentic tasting. Hummus was homemade without too much garlic, just the way we like like it.

If you are looking for value for money and want to sit outside, this place is a safe bet, but they do charge 10% extra for the privilege. Very good service and reasonable quality tapas, salads and pizzas. Drink prices aren't over the top either.

Not far from La Rambla, but much quieter. Sat outside, though they do charge a 10% fee for this. Better level of food than many of these cafes. Relatively peaceful. Friendly and prompt service and delicious Sangria.

We were looking for a different restaurant but stumbled across this one and decided to give it a go instead. We chose to sit inside - terrace is really a street corner and inside had air conditioning. Food was fresh and we didn't have to wait too long. The staff were very attentive. My fish in tempura was a little... More

Visiting nearby museum and stopped in for light dinner. Very good wait staff, wonderful pizza (try the veggie!), and super-nice owner/manager. Helped us find shortest route back to our hotel and treated us as if we were patrons who visited his business on a regular basis.

Quiter street, slower service, but still decent food. Worth sitting down and having a meal and drink if you're passing. But the price and the service may not be worth going out the way for

Popped in to Flor de Maig for lunch and got very good service, excellent food and drink. My friends had some of the tapas, and was happy with it. I had a pizza, which was superb. Highly recommended.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
