Slipped in for a quick bite and was surprised how good their sandwich was. Fresh crusty baguette, generous portion of ham and a sauce on the bread that was totally delicious. I have a taste to my teenage kids and that was that. I needed...More

Small but cozy place to grab a salad or a sandwich, with excellent service and a good cold beer served in a jar.

This is an unassuming little place on the Rambles that you would probably miss if you weren't looking for it. I went on the recommendation of a friend because of its amazing review in The NY Times ("the best sandwich I’ve ever had"). We don't...More

First of all, loved the setting and the cafe decor. However, in my opinion, limited breakfast food choices & on the Saturday morning we visited, the cafe was not very busy resulting in a very quiet (almost too quiet (& we're no ravers!)) atmosphere.

Called in here for a quick bite to eat as our accommodation is so close. Ordered a couple of flat white coffees and two jamon and cheese crusty roll/baguettes. The setting is awesome, well set out as a horseshoe style bar. The attending staff helpful...More

Great place for a quick bite and to people watch. We went a few times while visiting Barcelona at different times. Coffees are really good - and different ones to try - wasn't there long enough to manage them all! Missed it when we left...More

Had a breakfast sandwich and a couple espressos here one morning. Great service, fast and cheap. Food was good, not special but totally did the trick. Great way to start the morning.

We spent a few days in Barcelona and enjoyed breakfast here, and an afternoon coffee. The staff are so friendly and helpful (and smiling) and there is a varied menu covering most tastes. I enjoyed an omelette sandwich, a first for me, and thoroughly enjoyed...More

La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard,
and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La

past impressive human statues and artists while others
take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at
one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic
