Went there looking for a very late dinner (23:00). Simply solid tapas, with lively atmosphere and a great service. One of the best tapas restaurants we tried in our 7 days stay in Barcelona. Everything we tried was good, both wine and food.

I had very negative experience there. Service was ok, but manager was constantly shouting something to waiters very loud across the restaurant - very annoying. We went for set menu and I have to say portions were tiny as for two. Menu is constructed in such a way, that it's very confusing for a customers to understand it... result -... More

A great find, proper tapas where you pay by the number of cocktail sticks served with the food you eat. Staff walk round with tempting plates of food, from which you choose. Also there is a collection of cold selections. When you have finished they add up the sticks and you pay. Try the Sangria by the pint! Great with... More

Just delicious!! A tad expensive but every pincho was superb. So was the tinto de verano which came in a pint glass and was super refreshing. Sophisticated, spacious and relaxing. We liked it so much we went back.

Oysters - like marmite , if you like them the one I had here was super fresh, from the Gironde estuary Marennes ( I happen to have been there ) . I had mine with a glass of verdechio. Didn't eat anything else here , mainly a fish / seafood place. I had a chat with one of the staff... More

We had dinner at Orio and would highly recommend it for quality food in Barcelona. I had oysters to start, followed by grilled anchovies & a delicious Catalan cake for dessert. The food is delicious, wine good & service excellent.

We discovered this Basque restaurant while walking up Ferran from La Rambla one day. My husband spied a bed of oysters in the front window and we stopped in for lunch. He had a dozen very clean and tasty oysters and I had a delicious fire-grilled fresh fish on a bed of grilled potatoes and carmelized onions. Orio also has... More

We took the fix menu which was a mistake. Evry dish was either too salty or too oily and generally not in an high level. Coffee was Ok.... The surounding area of the table was dirty The sevice was fine except for the fact that the employees used a service room behind our table to grab stuf for the restaurant... More

The food was stunning, although very small portions and a bit pricey. Loved the deco as well, and the staff were very nice.

-we went there because we read about it in¨A weekend in Barcelona by Hachette¨ -we were very disappointed by the tapas which were mostly bread with a bit of something on top -we asked two employees about some tapas and they could not tell us what it was -one of them was walking in the restaurant with plates full of...
