Went here for our last lunch in Barcelona. We were a company of 6 and 5 of us ordered sallads. Me and my sister in law ordered the same sallad with goat cheese, bacon and strawberries. Everyone got their food the same time except for my sister in law. She had to wait a long time. When she got the... More

Terribile food except the two tapas we had as appetizer. My Cesar Salad with chicken had 3 tiny pcs of I guess chicken and the salmon tartare with avocado had more onions and mango than salmon and avocado! Prices way to high for what we got! There are plenty of places in Barcelona avoid this one!

This restaurant looks amazing from the outside and it really draws you in as it’s well-presented and lit brilliantly. Waiters are all well dressed and the place looks the part. Unfortunately this is as good as it gets. The waiting staff may look good but it’s all a front as they are slow, uninterested and a little rude. The menu... More

Wanted to try different restaurants so dropped by on the way back to hotel. Nicely decorated and good service but I didn't find food particularly good for the price. Ordered seafood paella and sea food spaghetti with a few side dishes. Paella was too salty i couldn't finish it altho I was starving! My son had seafood spaghetti and he... More

We were walking the town and were getting hungry, we seen this restaurant and stopped by, they couldn't seat 6 people, we were getting ready to move on when a table became open. The waitress that sat us was very friendly, however the waiter that served us wasn't so truthful. The waitress that sat us said that an order of... More

Decided to eat here on our last night in Barcelona. Although the food was fairly average the service was very good and the atmosphere relaxing. Worth a visit if you're after a quick bite to eat near the city centre.

Very slowly, rude waiter who doesn't speak English and boasts with it. We had to wait 20 minutes for him to come and take our order. Overall we spent more than 1 hour there and had only our main courses. We've had to cancel starters and soup, cause they were not ready yet(!!). And the waiter didn't tell us that... More

After having mediocre food in Madrid for three nights, we found Navara to be an excellent experience. The gazpacho was winning and so was the salmon risotto. The grilled veggies were good, but not excellent. But the prices and overall value exceeded our modest expectations. Thus the four stars. This place is very worth it if you're nearby.

Called in here as was close to apartment (and I took a lazy fit and fancied going back to watch Spanish 'First Dates'). It as an OK meal, average, bit dear for what it was. Service was prompt enough, but never quite sure who was serving us! Ok, but nothing special

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
