This restaurant has a very nice decoration and athmosphere and good food / price. However, service was not great: plates got too long to arrive. Better to make a reservation or they will put you in the last table in front of the bathroom.

The restaurant is very well located, near Passeig de Gracia, it has a little entry. You should go down stairs and the restaurant is in the basement, but we went for dinner, I'm not sure if the restaurant has daylight. We found the dishes not very different to other japanese restaurants, we did not enjoy too much maybe because we... More

We visited Miu on a Tuesday lunchtime. It was very busy but we were seated immediately. No English menu was provided but as a heads up the website does show the menu in English which made life a little easier than using google translate alone, not that I would ever criticise on this basis because we are after all in... The basement space is stylish and cool. The lunch menu was ok, nothing special except the moderate price. Service was adequate, a bit chain-like.

We asked for a restaurant recommendation at our hotel and the lovely woman at the desk suggested Miu Sushi. She was also nice enough to call and make a reservation for us. This restaurant is on Carrer Valencia, just off Passeig de Gracia. The decor was simple, but inviting, in aqua and beige. We started with chicken dumplings and stir... More

Amateur and rude staff. 1) The waitress, a young girl, forced me to speak English even though she first answered me in perfect English.2) She pretended not to understand my Spanish 3) she ignored my queries even though there were few guests 4) she had a very surly atitude. Food was ok but there is a much better Japonese restaurant... More

By Paseo de Gracia and downstairs Miu is a hidden place where to disconnect of the crowds and world. With an elegant, chic soho deco with soft lights and comfortable seats in this restaurant you will find japanese fushion cuisine customized to the western style...Tempuras, makis, miso ( japanese soup), or spicy hot duck or even croquetas of oven chicken.... The food here is excellent, at first view the menu looks a little pricey but in actuality it is ok. The decor is fantastic. The one thing that let it down was the device was not quite up to the standard we had expected. If you sit opposite the chefs they tend to stare at you a fair bit, which... More

The restaurantes is well located near Paseig de Gracia. The decoration and design is modern and cool. I found the food average in price and taste. Good for couples.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
