A very warm welcome from ‘Pusker’ what a guy!!!
The restaurant is beautiful, really nice setting, not quite on the waterfront but close enough to go for an after dinner drink.
We had a bottle of cava (Bacchus) which was dry but delicious followed by a lot of recommendations from Pusker, he advised us on everything we ate, from the vegetable bhaji to the murgjh jalfrezi of which all was absolutely gorgeous. When Pusker recommends he RECOMMENDS.
This place is a must visit when in Barcelona <3 you’re welcome ;-)
when he says you only need one rice please believe him…

Three of us had dinner at Rasoi restaurant on Reina Christina.
What an elegant restaurant it is.
The food was superb. We very much enjoyed the Lamb Saag, the Chicken Saag, the Grilled Salmon and Malabari Jhinga.
The Banana Pudding was really good.
The waiter service was amazingly good. Our waiter Sunabh firstly explained the menu to us in detail and then took our orders. He brought our food as soon as it was ready despite the number of other tables he was also serving.
You must try Rasoi. It is a very enjoyable experience.

This place has an international customer base, a menu that shies away from the common Indian staples only, although keeping some crownpleasers on there. The food is great, although the lack of salt inhibits the flavours to really shine through. Service is good and the place is one of the few places for a sit-down indian meal in the city. In Barcelona you can unfortunately not expect too much of Indian cuisine restaurants as some key ingredients lack here, however, this is one of the best we have. You should give it a chance.

Let down and left humiliated. Booked the restaurant for a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) for New Year's evening dinner. Correspondence done via email as we were travelling from UK. Arrived at restaurant for 9pm as per our confirmation and staff there indicated there was no reservation available for us.
Showed the email confirmation sent by the Rasoi, confirming our reservation. It clearly stated booking is confirmed (please see the uploaded email confirmation image)
Essentially, the staff at the place mentioned .. “as we did not send contact details, they cancelled our reservation”. The confirmation does not state that our contact details were required to secure the booking. In all essence, they did have the email address and least they could have emailed back to us to check / re-confirm our booking. They did not do that and just left us stranded on New Year’s Evening!!!
To make things worse, one of the staff mentioned that they have a table for 1 person available in a corner. Just added more salt to the wound. What did they expect us to do, one person sit at a time eating whilst others wait around? Shocked by this arrogant attitude from them.
Never will I recommend this place to anyone. Whilst the reviews indicate food may be great, the whole experience goes better with good and honest service too. Instead we were left humiliated and left to find another venue to celebrate our family’s New-Years evening dinner.

Dear Nyayo, sorry to know your experience.
You said "you have reserved the booking through our email" but the process is, the reservation will be confirmed only when the customers get the confirmation email sent by us manually or via phone communcation. In this case both the means have not done, thus we were unable to confirm the booking. Rasoi always stands for its quality service and prompt response. The review is totally misguiding and misleading with baseless acquisition.

Unsure about all the glaring reviews. The place and food were mediocre at best. Watched as the host/bar guy dropped table cloths on the dirty floor and he picked them back up and put them in the pile 😳
I watched so he knew I saw him - he didn’t care. So I thought oh god lol. Food was hit or completely miss:
Samosa appetizers B+
Butter chicken F-
Garlic Naan A++ (very strong garlic)
White wine A+
Ambiance: Meh
Overall as someone who’s had authentic North Indian food, this place missed the mark. Butter chicken like the worst I have ever had, no salt and had a strange basalmic flavor. Not sure if these are paid reviews lol but I don’t think I visited the same place they did

We went this restaurant after it being highly recommended to us by a friend. We weren't very impressed with it. We were recommended Tikka massala which had a lots color in it, it made it very sweet and thick which we have never had it before. The rice was not warm enough but ok. However, the nan bread and the spinach with house made cheese was good. We felt that it wasn't good ,This is a shame to say it is our first Indian – Nepalese meal , so we would like to try it again in the future to see if it was just a 'one off' or maybe it's better to actually go into the restaurant.

AVOID this restaurant. Reviews are not genuine. Dirty everywhere, including the kitchen, decor out of a nightmare with cheap chain hanging on the walls, staff very patronising and the food just plain awful. Everything is so wrong with Rasoi, that’s the tip of the iceberg. Worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever set foot in.

From start ro finish, the ambience and service were both excellent. Friendly, attentive and truly caring staff. Delighted to have discovered this restaurant.
Starters were outstanding and definitely do not miss the cheesy chicken tandoor or the mushroom tikka. They were fabulous. Packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection.
The mains with the Pilau rice were excellent as well. Navaratan Korma was perfectly balanced and the produce you could tell was so fresh!
My only feedback would be to try and improve the chicken fried rice. It wasn't fried rice, it was pilau rice with chicken that's may be slightly dry. The flavour was really good though!
We ordered the chilli paneer which was outstanding. Haven't eaten Indochinese in Barcelona for years and this absolutely hit the spot. The chilli chicken was wonderful as well. The sauce was 10 out of 10. The chicken was a little dry, but nothing that cannot be easily fixed.
Ended the meal with warm and soft Gulab jamun for dessert and finished with a perfect cup of chai. Nothing more I could ask for in an Indian meal away from the country.
Looking forward to our repeat visit already!

I dined at Rasoi and was impressed by their homely atmosphere and delicious Indian food. Each dish was well-prepared with balanced spices, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I highly recommend Rasoi for a cozy dining experience with top-notch Indian cuisine.

The place is very well decorated, quiet and the service is unbeatable. All the dishes were very well cooked and presented with attention to detail, and the portions are large. A place to repeat more times and be able to try many more things. Regarding the price, it is correct because all the products they use are of good quality.

What a lovely little Indian Gem in this part of Barcelona. One of the best Indian food places I have visited in Spain. I have been all over Spain and tried Indian Food but not of this high standard. Lovely original flavours in all their dishes that we enjoyed on our evening.
Himal is a great credit to this establishment. He looked after me and my family all night. We altered some dishes in our Tandoori platter which was no problem for him and his chef. The meats were brilliantly spiced all with its own original flavours. The Chilli Paneer was fresh and tasted beautiful. For mains the butter chicken was cooked to our spice level with fresh green chillies added was out of this world with fluffy tandoori naans and plain rice. The Gulab Jamun with ice cream just topped off our meal.
Can’t wait to visit again soon the next time we are in Barcelona. Keep up the good work. 😋👌🙏

This restaurant is authentically decorated and has a nice relaxing ambience.
We booked ahead using the fork to get 30% off. The curries were averaged priced. We ordered one dish each with a rice and naan bread to share.
Food didn't take long to arrive, the portions were generous and well presented. We both agreed that our curries could have been a little more spicy, both were quite bland. However, we enjoyed our food and visit.

This was the best meal we had all holiday (ate out every lunch/dinner)
We dine out at home and regularly eat Indian food at resteraunts but this meal stood out.
Such intense flavours and just the right amount of heat.
It was 10/10
The staff were very smiley and friendly and had great manners.
Please visit here for a top quality meal and service!
Plus the wine was only €3.50! And my martini came as a double. Great prices!

We took menu. The soup was horrible, with a chemical taste. The main dish was tasty, but quite small. Desserts were ok, but nothing special... I don't understand why their rating is so high. Because of nice interior?)) For example, food in Little India and Gandhi is much better.

Rasoi rest in Barceloneta is a modern restaurant with a lot of quality. We like Indian food, and, although they may all seem the same, this is not the same, they are better prepared dishes
