Service great, food AWFUL, medium rare spanish omelette anyone? Are frozen chips Patatas bravas? Massively overpriced for rubbish fast food. Shame, 3 years ago this place was good.

On our last night in Barcelona we wanted to walk to a place that was close to our hotel. How fortunate to have picked Tapas 24. The servers were great immediately treating us upon arrival. Also the restaurant was very clean and organized no clutter...and plates were taken away as we finished and beverages offered when glass almost empty. The kitchen was also very clean with 3 chefs preparing fresh food. We had the chicken and ham croquettes that were delicious. We also had the patatas bravas that were great as well . A nice wine list and also local beers on draft. I would highly recommend this restaurantMore

We had perfect breakfast at Tapas 24! Lovely staff, good atmosphere and great freshly live made food. We came back 2 times, and after the first visit they knew exactly how we wanted our cortado and latte. We will be back!! Def recommend this place....In evening it looked cosy and packed with people.More

Firstly a bit shocked at the bad reviews on here as we literally couldn’t fault it! We had just arrived in Barcelona and having seen this tapas restaurant (although it’s very much a tapas bar as opposed to a full on restaurant) mention on Lonely...Planet we decided to head there. Firstly, the waitress was welcoming and lovely. We ordered a few tapas and asked if she had any recommendations. She suggested the sandwich... don’t be fooled... no ordinary sandwich. It was so delicious! The rest of the food was really really good too. We ordered the meatball, cod fritters with honey (they were unbelievable), tomato bread. The wine was good too! We went around 4/5pm so it quieter but I would imagine it gets really busy and buzzy a bit later in the evening. By the time we left it was getting that way. I would definitely go back.More

THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I visited this place with a friend and we both were absolutely disappointed. The patatas bravas were very greasy, the huevos estrellados were terrible and they forgot the olives in the first...place. But what was absolutely frustrating, was the squid sandwich. They charge you almost 10€ for a two-bite, tiny plate! Staff was not very friendly as well. I live in Barcelona and this is by far, the worst restaurant I’ve been to.More

Thank you very much for the comment Ortal A. We are sorry for hearing that you did not have the best possible experience. We do have some tapas that are not made with animal precedence ingredients. Thanks once again.
