We came in looking for some fresh tapas out of the ordinary we had eaten the couple days there. We found this joint and said we'd give it a try. Since I was in the mood for some seafood but as a tapas, not to fill oneself up, I tried the spicy muscles. delicious!! Very recommended. We tried the fries/cubes... More

There are many tapas places in Barcelona and Tapas 24 certainly stands out. Of course there are all the traditional tapas but next to those there are some special ones that are both creative and delicious. Worth a try. Fast and friendly service. There is also a small terrace. Recommended.

Bar seating, fast service with fantastic food and good value. We had an assortment of great dishes and a reasonably priced bottle of wine. The muscles are a must.

Tapas served here are amazing, best we ever had. Try mac foie burger or bomb barceloneta. But they are all nice, difficult to choose. Reservation is not possible but it's worth to wait to be seated!

We came too early for tapas so instead we had breakfast. Big mistake. Greasy eggs and fries and arrogant bad service. Are they too known now? Only good thing was the pain au chocolat and the expensive orange juice.

We were staying nearby and our concierge recommended this place. We were seated at the at and got a birds eye view of the kitchen. We just watched food being prepared and ordered what looked good. They have all of the classics, plus new fun stuff - try the king crab hotdog if gone have it - yum!

Always crowded, we managed to get a spot after several attempts. Tiny tables, too many people packed around the bar and several people standing, waiting for a free table. The food was salty and it came in small portions. Overestimated and expensive for the quality it offers.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
