Where do I start. For once in my reviews I am struggling to find a POSITIVE. Once we were allocated a table we waited, and waited and WAITED for a menu! Eventually we got one and ordered. My husbands starter had to be put back ... The gorgonzola and walnut croquettes were FROZEN in the middle. I don't mean frozen... More

Recently stayed in Barcelona and visited this restaurant twice for evening meals. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Have no hesitation in recommending a visit if you are in the vicinity and looking for a quality meal at an affordable price. Pete and Joy

We went to this restaurant on our first night in Barcelona and were keen to savour the fish paella. It was disappointing to find no fish in it! Only lots of rice with two langoustines and four mussels in a portion for two people. Their tapas menu is good and all dishes are tasty.

One of many tapa bars on Passeig de Gràcia, no shortage of competition. The food was above average, did not wow us but worthy of a good meal. Their jamon with tomato bread was good. The grilled razor clams are food. Every dish is well seasoned and tasteful. Would go back if we have time.

Awful, awful , awful. Worst place ever. We couldn't finish our meal and later we didn't feel well. Sangria was more like wine with fanta. We DO NOT recommend this place. Additionally prices were quite high, specially if we think about the quality of food. It was really greasy, the sandwiches looked old. The service wasn't great neither, we were... More

We tried this place on the recommendation of the hotel front desk. Should have been a clue when there was only one other table seated. We had been told that many people eat later in Spain so we thought that perhaps 8:30 was early. We had Tapas as a starter, and to give credit we enjoyed them, My wife had... More

Visited after a long day in fabulous sunshine and this page looked OK. After seeing we were left for 15 minutes with only 2 other tables occupied. Food could only be described as mediocre and the waiter clearly had better things to do...waste of an evening

Went here on recommendation from the hotel receptionist. She was spot on, three course lunch, with bread and coffee, €10.50, bargain. Lots of choice of Catalan food, serving both locals, office orders and us tourists. Menu del Dia is the best value and was a great introduction to the city. Excellent service topped off a great visit

We visited this restaurant a couple of years ago, and had a great meal with good atmosphere and service. We visited last week, and whilst the decor was the same, it was a bit disappointing this time. The staff seemed disinterested and the service was slow. There was a reasonable choice on the menu, and when the food eventually appeared,... More

We hit upon Divinus while looking for somewhere to spend the evening. It had been open about 30 minutes when we arrived and we got a great reception from the staff. The menus were brought out promptly and our orders not rushed. Meals were explained thoroughly as was the wine menu. The mixed paella was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
