Popped in here one night as we did not want to wander about Barcelona much more at that point. We fancied a different taste from the tapas we had been having and opted for a tagliatelle carbonara and an Iberian ham pizza. Both were fine and the service was attentive. Very inexpensive and our bill for the pizza, tagliatelle, a... More

The service was really good, we were the first ones arriving at the restaurant and were nicely welcomed. I ordered a paella and it was good. The sangria was also good, the bartender asked me in advance how I preferred it. We had just arrived at our hotel so eating here was a good start of the trip.

We visited this restaurant twice and both times we had an excellent experience. We sat at the bar and were greeted warmly and served promptly and with a smile. It felt like having dinner with friends. This despite them having to clear a bunch of glasses from the bar to seat us. Each time we had a variety of tapas... More

I visited Divinus with my girlfriend and some friends for New Year's Eve, and all I can say is that it was a very good choice. I must reckon that I got a bit shocked when I read the other comments but in my case I have to say that my experience in the restaurant was 100% positive. The location... More

Can only assume the positive reviews were for the other Divinus restaurant that shows up in TripAdvisor for Barcelona. My two stars are generous. I am allowing for it being a holiday (perhaps to explain short staff). Can't come up with any other reasonable reason. Service non-existent. Husband liked flavor of the veal but it was chewy. (How can veal... More

Where do I start. For once in my reviews I am struggling to find a POSITIVE. Once we were allocated a table we waited, and waited and WAITED for a menu! Eventually we got one and ordered. My husbands starter had to be put back ... The gorgonzola and walnut croquettes were FROZEN in the middle. I don't mean frozen... More

Recently stayed in Barcelona and visited this restaurant twice for evening meals. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Have no hesitation in recommending a visit if you are in the vicinity and looking for a quality meal at an affordable price. Pete and Joy

We went to this restaurant on our first night in Barcelona and were keen to savour the fish paella. It was disappointing to find no fish in it! Only lots of rice with two langoustines and four mussels in a portion for two people. Their tapas menu is good and all dishes are tasty.

One of many tapa bars on Passeig de Gràcia, no shortage of competition. The food was above average, did not wow us but worthy of a good meal. Their jamon with tomato bread was good. The grilled razor clams are food. Every dish is well seasoned and tasteful. Would go back if we have time.

Awful, awful , awful. Worst place ever. We couldn't finish our meal and later we didn't feel well. Sangria was more like wine with fanta. We DO NOT recommend this place. Additionally prices were quite high, specially if we think about the quality of food. It was really greasy, the sandwiches looked old. The service wasn't great neither, we were... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
