The bar is beautiful and perfect in the colder part of the year since you will want to be inside and not on the street. Try your first cocktail from a bathtub or served from a tea-pot. Great combinations and taste, slightly slow service but hey, who is in a hurry!

The bar is managed by many guys from Italy so they are particoularly nice. They have a wide selection of spirits and cocktail in a suffused lightning.

After a recommendation from our hotel reception we stopped here for a quick beer. Sitting outside we took in the hustle and bustle of the street while relaxing. We visited again the following evening and tried a range of cocktails and gin. The cocktails were excellent with great theatre, arriving in teapots, baths and in smoke filled bottles etc. The... Nice little bar with great cocktails and marvellous service. Went there twice during our stay because of a recommendation from a friend.

The food was excellent. The tapas was amazing - and the chips (for the young ones) are incredible. Highly recommend Spanish Omelette, Mixed Salad, Goats Cheese Salad and small tapas bits to help the meal along. Great for families - our 6 year old loved the experience.

We discovered this bar by accident because our studio is only 5 min away from it. The bar is set up in a classic way just like the music. But if you see the menu, you will be amazed by it. They will make you drinks from on the menu or off. We were not disappointed once! I hope to... More

I like to try out all the old bars wherever I visit, and this would have to be one of the best I have found. Really old, lovely and clean and restored. I had a Pisco Sour and it was perfect. Sat outside at a table and people watched. In fact it was so good I bought back a friend... More

A small coffee house and bar that keeps the atmosphere of turn of the century Barcelona. One can sit at the window tables order a glass of local wine or coffees and get lost in the atmosphere. A mix of locals, tourists, and neighbours passes thorough this place. With its idiosyncratic but fun service is quite the experience.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
