We LOVED this place. Every sundown we went and people watched outside on the Rambla and had drinks and delicious cakes. Our favorite was the carrot cake. But the drinks were delicious too! Loved this place! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I never had an empty glass for long!

The interior is very nice, but the service is not very polite. Food could be better for this kind of interior design and price

During a recent trip to Barcelona we walked the streets on our first night in town. On a side street corner between Passeig de Gracia and Avenida Diagonal we stopped in a small bakery cafe, Bopan Forners Artesans (Rambla de Catalunya, 119, 08008 Barcelona). It looked so inviting from across the street that we had to pop our heads in... More

Great place to sit down and grab some breakfast or a mid day snack. They also have fresh baked pastries and breads you can take to go!

I was exploring the city when I came across this hidden gem! I was looking for a good breakfast place and I found it here. As soon as I came in I was greeted by a very friendly staff; very attentive and suggestive of their many options. I was recommended to try "Zumo" and " Tostadas", and I loved it.... More

When me and my wife were longing for a good pizza and a salad, Bopan did a good job. The goat cheese salad was really filling and delicious. Nice location as Rambla de Catalunya is really nice and beautiful ambiance overall. Outside seatings are nice addition. I really liked it. Try their Sangria.

I went here for lunch and sat down in the terrace area. I motioned to the waitress and she nodded to show she'd seen us. We then waited 30 minutes while she ambled around, chatted with other staff, tidied the glasses on a shelf, etc, without coming to take our order. At this point we left.

Near La Piedrera and other Gaudi buildings. Serving all day! A real boon when you're in need of early dinner. Nice menu and excellent pastries. Coffee shop atmosphere.

I didn't actually go here but my husband walked over early in the morning a couple times during our stay to pick up some breakfast treats. Everything we had was fresh and very tasty. Apparently the other reviews haven't been very flattering but my husband never encountered any of those issues.

...and were sorely disappointed. The owner/manager was not interested in doing business with us, the waitress slammed plates and cups in front of us and stomped around the restaurant obviously not enjoying her job. We waited for service for a long time, then finally walked up to the front counter and get our own food. This was the worst food... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
