We had passed by here on a food tour the night before. An afternoon stop to rest our feet and get some sweets, this hit the spot.

We stumbled upon this cafe - was delicious and reasonably priced. A great find. We had pastries and baguettes with local ham and great coffee.

We arrived and waited for about 10 minutes to enter the local. When we seated and received the menu, we wanted to ask the waiter which hot chocolate was the most traditional one, he was VERY rude, telling that was written on the menu, and...More

A fabulously charming authentic cafe serving the best hot chocolate ever. The dark chocolate is thick , slightly bitter , and eaten with a spoon....it’s not a light drink , but a wonderful warming bowl . Enjoy with hot warm churros ....you will not need...More

It is located in a very very touristic area, but somehow suceeded to stay local. The place itself is very lovely, but at the same time the desserts are very delicious. People usually eat churros and hot chocolate, which are very nice. But I suggest...More

This is an absolute gem. Probably the best churros we've ever had. My wife and I absolutely loved it. And definitely recommend the chocolate to go with it. Only thing is the staff's English isn't very good so helpful to know a few words of...More

Lovely place, in the style of a great Gelato Café but it's all about the cream! We ordered a large hot chocolate (with cream on top) and a plate of chiros. Big grins all round! Cash only.

spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day

Since 1870, the Barcelonians have visited our central establishment in search of a good breakfast or snack in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Here you can find the typical Catalan cream, hot chocolate with cream and churros and a wide assortment of cold meats and dairy products, many of them of own elaboration.
