I came here with a friend for a late sunday lunch (around 4pm). the waiters were really nice, told us to feel free to get a table, but that they were closing in 40 minutes, and wanted to ensure this was ok for us. we sat down and ordered a few tapas (grilled calamari, jamon, goats cheese and peppers and... I love everything about this place in Gracia. The menu of the day is always so good and only costs 9euros (two plates, drink, bread and dessert). The portions are very abundant, the service is great, they serve high quality food for good price. Would always recommend!

Our family of 4 visited on a busy Saturday night without a reservation. The staff were welcoming and service was excellent even though my Catalan/ Spanish is poor! The atmosphere was great. We also found the food to be a great standard, we especially loved the calamari, prawns, potato bravas. There was also a variety of vegetable dishes suitable for... More

Staff does not spekas a lot english but really helpful, you will enjoy the atmosphere and food, especially sea-food and tipically Spanish food, meat was perfect as well. In that busy night, shef was also helping the waiters-that is the sign for quality and that... More

Our hosts in Barcelona recommended us La Caleta de Gracia and they were absolutely right! If you like sea food, then it's perfect place. They have the best chipirones - fried baby squids in Barcelona. Also, everything else, including desert was delicious. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We came here on our first night of staying in the vicinity, and came back again for our last evening because we knew we'd have a good experience. Yum. Glad we did. All the tapas and main courses were delicious. Only marked down on puddings which were bought in ice creams. But hey! Enjoy the savoury stuff and go elsewhere... More

Located in the heart of Gracia, this tiny restaurant will offer you delicoius tipical dishes of the catalan tradition. Try "Robalo con Nata" and "Calamares Rellenos"!

We were looking for a tapas place with a free table in the middle of the Gracia Festival, one of the busiest weeks in this neighborhood, and we found this restaurant that looked nice. We were very wrong! The waiters aren´t friendly at all, and although that have a very extend tapas and seafood menú pleasing to the eye, the... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
