We were staying close by and early in our visit we tried Sucursal. The food is inventive, the wine is good, and the staff is friendly. We are fluent in English and nothing else. There were folks who could communicate effectively with us and help...More

We arrived Saturday to Barcelona and had not made a reservation - when we found Sucursal Aceitera close to our hotel in San Antoni. Luckily there was a table free - the food was nice, good advice on how to combine and ordrer the dishes...More

Hungry for wine and tapas we struggled inside. We choose a table (with 3 chairs) at the window, but were moved to another table with 2 chairs. I can understand the commercial reason for this, but as we entered at 3.30PM on a Monday the...More

We decided to have dinner there because it looked nice, but we had such a deception with the place. Food was not bad but very scarce. We asked for bread and they brought us 4 small slices; we were 5 people, couldn't they just add...More

This restaurant is nestled in the budding foodie district of San Antoni, Barcelona. The ambiance is ok but the food is very good. We had an excelled typical Iberian grilled pork served in succulent chunks with potato, red peppers and dollops of mayonnaise. However, the...More

We visited here for a tapas lunch and it was amazing. The chicken croquettes were the best we had in Barcelona. The octopus salad, potatoes with egg and ham, bread with tomato and bomba were great! No faults!

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
