We visited San Hoa restaurant yesterday and the meal and service we received was second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone trying the food here. The owner was very convivial and helpful. Just outside the hubbub of La Rambla it was a nice change

Very convivial. I often eat duck at restos, and I am usually disappointed. Their sweet chilli fied duck was great (not as fatty as some). Boss very attentive, and ponied ups a v nice Torreos rosado. Very happy last meal on this trip, after lots of disappointments

A fantastic restaurant with fantastic food, service and hospitality. The owner even gave away fruits to my kids to take home as an act of appreciation for our first visit to their restaurant. Great prices and great taste. Nothing to find fault at all. Only wish there are more restaurants of this kind that makes us want to go over... More

This is a great experience. The food is simply delicious, the surroundings spotlessly clean and Moto and his family provide a warm sincere welcome to you when you arrive and throughout your meal. What can I say about Moto,he's just a one off.We were there twice out of our four days in Barcelona. However there is something missing and I can't put my... More

Where do I begin. Moto (please forgive the spelling if it's incorrect), an absolutely brilliant host! He was full of life, laughter and fun. From the first to the last moment he was a constant host, always trying to make our dinning experience better. THE FOOOOOOD! Moto told us his recommendations and we went with some and my goodness he... More

highly recommend! Made to feel VERY welcome by the slightly eccentric owner (v basic English). Food came quickly, and it was very tasty! Owner recommended pork loin which was juicy and so flavourful. Food was great value for money and we will definitely return for another visit.

Gave Son Hao a try while in Barcelona on a short break. Typical oriental decorations with a welcoming feel. Owners very friendly and helpful even if his English is a little sketchy. Explained that we didn't eat meat (only fish/veg) and he pointed out all the best options. Food was served quickly and nicely presented. Rice was perfect and prawn... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
