Really enjoyed this meal. Great pizza & pasta. Our group is quite fussy about Italian food & it passed the test. Very impressed.

I often go to have lunch there and their pizzas and salads are delicious (I always recommend the pear and nuts salad, so goooood!). The staff is very nice, so for quick lunches, I think it is the perfect spot.

For those who do not like Tapas and/or wish to eat something else. Good pizza and good pasta. Service ok but not that great.

When we found ll Pomo d' ore l quickly looked up the reviews some were not very complimentary but we took the chance and were so glad we did. Was looking forward to a nice Italian meal but got cold food!! My boyfriend ordered the mushroom pasta and I'd say there were less than a handful of mushrooms on his plate. I ordered the spinach and ricotta canneolli and when they came out they were cold inside!!! I found this restaurant over priced for average food, would never go... More

Their Pizzas are perfect: thin crust, melts in your mouth, cheesy and fresh ! However if you order something less italian, like the chicken or salmon dish, then prepare to be disappointed as those dishes were really dry and abit expensive if you compare what you have in your plate to the superb pizzas other tables may have. Coffee is... More

Nice place. Personnel is italian, well speaking spanish and english. The list offers a lot of pizza and some pasta types. We ate a Marinara - good enough, maybe too much oil, but good pomodoro sauce and origano, a quattro formaggi - good, a "rossa con funghi" - ok, and a "calzone vegetrarianp", good enough. Pizza dough was light, well... More

The food was excellent. The staff was all nice. And the value was great. Best part about this place is that it's only a few blocks from the tourist area, and it was full of locals (always a good sign).

This was the perfect answer to a not-so-expensive dinner with the kids...but still good food. It's off the main roads so it's more local than touristy. The staff was very nice and although they didn't speak a lot of English, they had English menus. Would recommend it for a change to the multi-course, costly meals you end up having on... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
