I really appreciate the waiter's availability to accommodate us at the table although they're closing...almost 15 minute before closing. We order different dishes of tapas, really tasty and in particularly I preferred cuttlefish😋😋

Had lunch at this quaint restaurant on an authentic Barceloneta square. Friendly, prompt service, with typical Spanish fair, and a refreshing Roija rosè. Clearly a place where the locals hang out.

The place is adorable, but the service... I asked for a white wine and a tapa of calamares. The wine was warm and calamares dull and salty. At least it was not expensive.

The place is okay but not great. We had some tapas and drinks. I found the prices slightly higher than other nearby restaurants. The indoor decor lacked passion and the food I ordered was cold.

Wander the waterfront near the Picasso Museum, but skip the pricey/touristy restaurants that line Passeig de Joan de Borbo. Instead, head two blocks over to to Can Ganassa in Placa de la Barceloneta. For 11.50 euros you can get a tasty, three-course lunch. We had...More

We ordered seafood paella and a bottle of local white wine - Paella consisted of black rice, one small langostina and two mussels for each person at a price of €36. Food was lukewarm and dry. The wine had a corky taste, but the waiter...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local for true and less expensive paella (enough for 3 ppl and 18 EUR - per person for 2). It is made from fresh (not frozen) seafood and the service is beyond wonderful. From a picky American,...More

We accidentally found this brilliant restaurant/tapas bar on our way to the harbour. It is located on a peacefully little square. We chose 6 different and authentic tapas together with some rosé wine. Place to be !!

We stopped by as we wandered about the harbor. We ordered the shark which we enjoyed. The bombas was a tad too spicy for me so my husband ate that one. The potato and onion was a bit cold but had a nice flavor. I...More

Beautiful location.....good service and tasty Spanish tortilla and wine! We were given complimentary olives that were delicious. International clientele....ended up chatting with others tourists and had a great time!

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
