We stumbled upon this place on our way to another restaurant. The staff was very friendly. He explained the different types of cured ham, how they are made, and let us sampled each type. We would definitely visit here again the next time we come to Baecrlona!

It's a small store with small selection because what they carry are the best of the 100% ibérico de bellota from major regions (except for one reserve de campo.) All we needed to do was which region's ham we liked. So simple! We sampled the jamon (rear leg) first, then came back for paleta (front leg) next day thinking to... More

As part of my 2nd visit to Barcelona, I was on the lookout for Iberian ham which I remembered fondly. Shop is small and well-staffed. Service is excellent with staff explaining the differences between the hams and offering to taste. While I didn't actually eat there (apart from the tasting) I happily parted with my money for some good quality... More

If You're looking for a great jamón Bellota in Barcelona go to Reserva Iberica! Ask for the best Bellota with a glass of white wine or cava. We got the advice from one of the staff that red wine spoils the taste of this wonderfull jamón. There are a lot of other products but we always choose the Bellota. Also... More

I read a lot of positive reviews for this shop so I decided to purchase some ham as souvenirs for my friends and family. The shop itself wasn't too hard to locate (just a street next to Casa Batllo). When I got there, there were a selection of ham out and when I asked for some assistance and recommendations, the... More

Let me begin by clarifying that this is not a restaurant per say; and no, it cannot be considered one of the best meals in a restaurant. However, I marked it down as that here, because it is definitely one of the best snack bar experience. The place is mainly a tapas, tasting bar. We discovered this place while shopping... More

Reserva Iberia is a must visit shop for travellers to Barcelona. It's a small little shop, but it sells a good variety of iberico jamon, as well as olives, chips and wines. They are also quite generous and patient to show you the different kinds of ham they sell. I recommend having lunch at the shop with a glass of... More

Ham and more ham. It's the real deal. They have several hams out on display. Chose the grade you want and buy what you can eat. They will cut it fresh and serve you there or they will vac-pak your to-go order. Great place for stop during the long day sightseeing

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
