Very nice restaurant with tasty dishes and desserts accompanied by a reasonable list of wines. Situated on the elongated pavement of Passeig de Gracia where you can enjoy your meal while enjoying the vibrant neighborhood.

La Vinoteca was an example of serendipity. Stopping by its storefront wine display, inside we discovered a modern and inviting restaurant with a welcoming staff. Their menu is varied, well presented with a fish of the day fresh from the market. That night it was hake, perfectly prepared with interesting vegetables. Delicious. For dessert Gateau St. Honore and a coconut... More

Sit outside, under the electric heater... and bask in the glory of Paseig de Gracia - it has colour, lights, glamour, peace and a little bit of Gaudi. We had a glass each of some very fine wine - generous portions too ! This establishment clearly enhances such a wonderful location.

Don't be fooled by the wine store front. The wine list is excellent, but not extensive. The food is worth stopping in for. The menu is simple and the food is a great value. A quick bit or full meal; you won't be disappointed.

We came here by accident and really enjoyed. Place is nice, they have tables on the street and you can seat and drink good wine on the fresh air. Selection of wine is good, many local type - you know Catalonia is great with wines. We just seat, drink coffee, wine and water and relax. Nice, nice place to visit.

We stopped by accident, wanting to have a glass of cold white wine and ended up eating for 2 hours. Incredible tomato bread (the best in Barcelona!) and a good place for ostras and local wine. we 've received great wine recommendations!

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening of tapas and wine at this modern restaurant. We were unfamiliar with Spanish wines, but the sommelier helpfully steered us to a Sangre Del Toro that we absolutely loved. He also kindly and patiently answered my somewhat embarrassing questions such as, "What is a tinto?" The restaurant has a chic, modern decor. We sat at... More

We had a late lunch here and enjoyed an array of tapas. The food was all very tasty, but we did wait a while for some of the hot dishes to arrive. Not all of the items on the menu were available because it was a Sunday but our waitress was able to guide us on our choices. We enjoyed... More

Huge choice of wines although obviously limited on other choices. We had a drink inside while we waited for a table to open up outside and the vibe inside was good with really nice contemporary décor. Service was understated but professional and courteous and the food I thought was very good with us buying quite a few starters to create... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
