I came here with my family a couple days ago and I had to come back the next day because it was so amazing. Best carbonara ever!!

Truly great food, nice atmosphere, friendly hosts. The cold cuts and barrata appetizers were incredible, all the pastas were wonderful as well. This was our favorite meal we had in the city by far.

We were a group of 9 people, from start to finish it was a wonderful evening. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, our gracious host, and the cozy setting. High recommend!

My aunt, my cousin and I just spent an eventful day visiting sites both outside and inside of Barcelona. After a long day of galavanting we were worn out, and had decided to look for something relaxed and easy. We then came across Donizetti a...cosy, local, Italian restaurant serving just what we desired. It had a very familiar menu full of Italian cuisine suitable for any age and pallet! We were served on by a friendly and helpful face that gave great recommendations! We started off with appetisers on the house that set us up for a delicious, fresh green salad. We then had carbonara which would leave you floored with how rich and creamy it was. My aunt had gnocchi which in her own words was simply “Devine”. To finish off the evening we had between us the most incredible hazelnut chocolate cake to ever grace my tongue!! There’s not a day that will pass were I won’t think about this cake! In my opinion go just for this cake!! My aunt had lemon ice cream which she didn’t finish which was fine by me!! All in all I would say that this place is a must go and if somehow you manage to leave Barcelona without visiting this hidden gem it’s as if you’re missing out on visiting La Sagrada familia. I hope this restaurant gets the recognition it deserves, because well, it deserves it!!!More

We had no reservation but were so lucky to get a table for 3. The hosts are super friendly and the food is superb. I had the black spaghetti (see picture). So glad we could get a table.

Very small Italian restaurant. Service and food is so good!! Highly recommended! Only disadvantage was the very loud opera music 😌

Cute, friendly little Italian resturant with a familar touch. Amazing food and great service and big portions. Thank you! Markus & David

We have been coming to this little nice Italian restaurant since 2014. We love it! The food is fantastic with great wines to good prices. Our favourite course is the fresh pasta with truffle. But even the ragú, carbonara and pesto are fantastic. The tiramisu...is always freshly made and to die for. We will continue coming here when we visit Barcelona.More

Small family restaurant simply furnished service lovely food delicious 😋 More choices of wine by the glass would be good as there was only one and it wasn’t good, would return

Wonderful Cuisine! Great service from front and back of the house! Love our server she was amazing and very attentive. Food was amazing! Will go again when will go back! Highly recommended.

A really beautiful, perfectly ambient Italian restaurant. The server was the most welcoming and the carbonara is the best I have ever had. You must visit.

Excellent food, good service, nice ambiance! The Caprese di Bufala was to die for and the Spaghetti Bolognese, very good. Ask for bread to clean out your plate! Decent price!

We got to the restaurant at about 8:30 and we were the only ones there and by 9pm it was packed so it’s best if you get there early to avoid disappointment. We had the gnocchi and amatriciana pasta which were both delicious. Try the...tiramisu it was amazing! Expect the service to be a little slow as it’s just one woman serving and one chef but we didn’t mind.More
