We went with friends to enjoy mushrooms menù combined with selected wines matching with plates served.Great expectations but were not fulfilled! Starting plate was almost called when served what for Nizcalos ( lactarious deliciosus) local appreciated mushroom is not good. One of participants likes meat well cooked and had to send the filet back to the kitchen 2 Times .Wine choice... Hello everybody! I had a trip with my honey to Barcelona! Stayed at the Hilton and went to this restaurant because it was really close to our hotel! Really modern and beautiful Ambiente! In front of the restaurant it looks a lil bit like a fast food Restaurant or bar but really luxury! At the back there is the beautiful... More

The hake preparation was one of the best fish dishes I have ever tasted. The service was spot on. The only negative was the over brightness of the room which definitely detracted from the decor and dining experience.

This is an average restaurant but with unbelievably good red house wine! (I wish I wrote down the name). Adjacent to the great Condes Hotel where I stayed. Breakfasts are fine, but expensive (20E).

Never before have it had to send food back to a kitchen, let alone twice for the same dish and for three other items. I am not a food expert but when there is a 25 minute gap between 1 portion of croquettes and the other 2 (ordered at the same time), then the spicy potato meatballs were luke warm.... More

As a Michelin-rated restaurant, I expected so much more. The service was the only thing that lived up to the guide rating. My friend and I visited using a group in and were grossly disappointed. Appetizers included an extremely sad Russian salad topped with canned tuna and simple croquettes. I felt like we accidentally stumbled into a random cafeteria. Mains... More

Saw this on trip advisor with mix reviews but since we had arrived from San Sebastian and dined at Martin"s main restaurant we thought we would give it a go. Staff were abrupt and one spilt an entire bottle of mineral water on my wife, and made little effort to mop it up, let alone offer to bring a fresh... More

They are Liars. I paid 100 Euros for a tasting menu, but they served garbage. Rude waiter and bad quality food. See the photos. This is the "seven Michelin star" croqueta. Looks and taste terrible. If you like to pay high to eat greasy and bad food and drink cheap wine, this is the place. They think clients are idiots.... More

We were staying at the Condes de Barcelona Hotel, so this restaurant was very convenient. Prior to having breakfast, we had planned on going there for a special dinner. However the decor was very modern and had little ambiance so we are going to stick to this for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive - hot and cold food,... More

Language was a definite barrier as we speak minimal spanish but when i pointed to something on the other menu I was definately told... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
