Grabbed a quick bite here while we were in the area. (Really close to Casa Batillo) Opened at 12.30pm. Design inside is great with lots of American decor. Lots of beer choice (although only one lager on tap the day we went) Portions big. The...bbq wings were gorgeous and filling. Didn't know we were being upsold a dipping sauce for an extra euro though..sounded like it was included. For the price, it probably should be tbf.More

I booked a table at CocoVail well well in advance as my family were coming to visit and we wanted to celebrate me running Barcelona Marathon and to watch El Clásico together (Sunday 19th March). I called multiple times to let the beer hall know...we were running a few minutes late (walking post marathon isn't easy!) and there was no answer (I understand this can happen in busy times). When we arrived and I asked a waitress for our table, less than 10 minutes later than the time of our reservation, the waitress told us they had checked with the manager and that they had given our table away because it was busy and we were late. The manager then was walking past, the waitress introduced her and the manager said, rushing and very unsympathetically, she was sorry but it was really busy and we were late. I replied that we had called to say we would be a little late but we are now here and she said there was nothing she could do. Not only did we then have no place for dinner, or to watch the football, but I felt really embarrassed with my family as they had flown in to celebrate the marathon with me and it really added a downer to my experience after I was sure we had a place to eat and enjoy the match. My advice would be to not accept reservations for these times if this is what will happen because I won't return or be recommending this establishment, you have to allow that sometimes people can genuinely be 5-10 minutes late. Nothing was done to try and rectify my experience and I was even sent a post dining survey even though I didn't get to dine.More

Went in at 1pm on a Sunday just after it opened and the beer selection was easy to navigate, good prices too. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The food we had was lovely, a poke bowl salad thing and a chicken burger,...both were great, if you have any allergies there is an allergen menu.More

If you’re visiting from the US, you need to try this place! Fun, lively atmosphere. Geared towards a younger crowd. Perfect for college students, especially those studying abroad who need a place to watch sports. Amazing food and a large selection of beer. Famously known...for their chicken wings. Have a good selection of sauces with varying spice levels and serve ranch dressing on the side (very hard to find here) Staff is very friendly and kind. Overall a great place to hangout with friends.More

My girlfriend found this place, right next to a train/metro station and the Casa Batllo, and I had the best chicken wings of my life so far here. The white meat, the outside, and the sauces, are full of flavour and cooked very well. The...drinks are also good, as are the burgers. The staff is very accomodating and friendly, and manages this very (!) busy place very well.More

If you only visit one bar in Barcelona, make it this one. Can be busy to get in as it is that popular, but well worth the wait. Brilliant buzzing atmosphere and excellent choice of beers and food. Go for it

Great place for experiencing Catalan local beer (6&10) with super friendly American style service. I really recommend this place. A bit pricey on the beer but I think it’s great to support local breweries.

Late night when we get back in one of our favorite to order from alo of choices for wings, the super nachos are really good, and the burgers are better than average. We also like the carrot cake for the sugar rush.

Being away from home for so long can be hard, especially for wary teenagers. We were actually on our way to another restaurant when we walked by here and knew we had to stop. They really nailed the American sports bar (though I will say...I'm disappointed they weren't showing the Women's Euros). The wings were really great and the local beer selection was spot on (shout out to La Textil's Juicy Jones). The giant jenga game was a big hit too. My only regret is I didn't buy a t-shirt.More

It's a California vibed beer bar with seats outside as well. The range of drafts makes it pure Heaven for a beer lover. You can also have a hamburger to go along with your beers if hunger sets in. But for us the best thing...was to be able to sit outside all night long on a hot summer evening and just kick back and relax – and make the trips to the bar for a refill of Erdinger Weiss on tap. This place is truly excellent when you're thirty for beer and a laidback vibe. Whenever at the counter we only met very nice service all around.More

After a few days in Barcelona we wanted a good American restaurant with craft beers. We live in an area in the U.S. where small breweries are popping up all the time (Rehoboth Beach, Delaware). The bartender was extremely helpful about which beers to order....Food was really good (cheeseburgers and cheese steaks). All the local beer were impressive. After speaking to the bartender he introduced me to the owner. He had actually traveled to my area in the U.S. and he had been to several of my local breweries and met some of the same people who we knew at home. We definitely recommend this place if you are looking for American food and ambience.More
