It hurts my heart to rate this restaurant, I would never go back. So disappointed in quality of food and taste. Fish was not fresh and it smelt like it. Maybe it was an off night, when you go to a 2 star Michelin you...would expect an outstanding meal, but this was not the case. Service was great, food not so much. PASS!More

Service was friendly but robotic (asked the same question after each dish and ignored the answer), the wine was mediocre (could reproduce the quality for 20 euros at a grocery store), the room was beautiful and the food was horrible. The chef has a bizarre...affinity for liquid nitrogen and half my meal was subzero frozen, including a frozen, smashed crab head. Every dish also seems to contain “codmium”, which is some green dye from what I can tell. When the dishes weren’t frozen to check for cavities, the challenge was identifying what the food actually was (which wasn’t apparent from taste or sight). If you must go to a Michelin restaurant, fine, but plan a snack afterwards and beware the first course which has the distinction of more closely resembling infected snot than anything I’ve seen. Not good.More

Our waiter was very nice and helpful. He was enthusiastic. The food delicious and special. I loved that the menu contained lots of seafood. I was very cold because of the strong air conditioning. We were surprised that they charged us 52 EUR for the...welcome drink, we did not expect that. The desserts were way too cold, causing me toothache.More

Personalized service and amazing food. We especially like the lunch menu. Staff is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

Beautiful restaurant with superb food and excellent service. Fantastic menu with great flavours especially if you like seafood. Our highlights of the menu were the crab beignets, sea cucumber, smoked wagyu and the Camí de Ronda dessert. Easily one of the best desserts we’ve ever...eaten with a refined poetic quality. Thanks to the great hospitality of Max and Evelien we had a great dinner experience.More

Stellar meal. Hit every possible high note. From the opening hello to the final goodbye (got to meet Chef), every interaction with staff, every bite of food, sip of wine, look around the beautiful room was utter perfection. This meal is the rare Michelin 2...star that goes super creative and manages to deliver clever yet absolutely mouthwatering bites. The staff was charming, whimsical and smart. The sommelier was able to pivot to an all-red pairing and also took the time to educate us on relative differences between local Spanish wines and their French “counterparts”. This meal was an A+ and, in my view, is probably a more pleasant less burdensome way to dine than some of Barcelona’s better known award winning spots.More

Having had a very mediocre experience at one of Barcelona's other so called reputable Michelin Restaurants (see previous review on TripAdvisor) my wife & I were in for a much needed "culinary boost" to get the trip back on track and I can say without...doubt that Paco Perez's Menu @ Enoteca did exactly that! A perfectly executed and refined Catalan "Master Class" delivered on the night by his exciting young Chef, Bernado Morgado was everything you want an experience like this to be....technically brilliant, uniquely flavoursome and a fantastically imaginative and well executed Menu delivered without a single flaw....coupled with an attentive and likeable Service Team! Only food served like this can reaffirm why we make the considerable efforts to keep going to these places and why we spend the high levels of money we do....it just makes your heart sing and when you wake up the next day, you are smiling from ear to ear with joy and cannot wait to share your experiences with other like minded people! All I can say is this is Definitely one not to miss out on, if you are looking for a truly memorable Michelin dining experience whilst staying in Barcelona.....I have no doubt that you will enjoy it immensely!!More

We had a very bad experience here. Food was generally cold and the timing between the 15 courses was ridiculous (range for 12 to 27 minutes)- and it took me 25 seconds to consume one red prawn (supposed to be “three ways”) which I was...left starring at its sad head for a long time before anyone cleared the plate. I provided some feedback on the starters- I just did not like the bland flavor of the first set of tapas- we were ignored for the rest of the meal (we were perceived as the grumpy ones). Wine- well one be prepared to sit with empty glasses for a while before anyone tops up your glass. They should Just leave the bottle by the table so you can help yourself. You may ask yourself- why checking the time and need of wine refill- the ambience does not help- loud, strange piped music (loud) to overpower the very bad acoustics in this Scandinavian “white box” surrounded by empty cheap wine bottles on shelves (by the way- the white wines are not pre chilled- So expect a 10 min delay needed to chill your wine after you ordered it (is this an enoteca?) The dishes were generally hit and miss- we left before the main meat course and desert. It simply was not worth the pain to sit on the wood chairs to encounter another lukewarm dish. The restaurant manager is very protective of his house and is not able to receive feedback and simply say- sorry- maybe something could be better or maybe something went wrong- customer is wrong- or does not understand what a 2 star Michelin experience is (I do). It was a very disappointing experience. I feel sorry for the overworked people spending 14 hours a day in this establishment. After the cold but beautifully prepared John Dory- We had enough- and we signed the full bill which had some additional wine charges on it as desert!More

This was a poor experience for over EUR 1,000. The staff is nice and that is all positive I can say. The dishes are unimaginative and some of them, e.g. the soup, came lukewarm. We went there on the 1st of January, which might be...the explanation for the low quality. However, I do not think a two Michelin stars restaurant should afford an occasion as this was. They are not forced to be open. They should rather hold up their standards.More

Enjoyed an amazing meal here - fantastic in every aspect; food, wind, service, ambiance. Selected the tasting menu with pairings selected by the sommelier; 12 courses with several "extras" thrown in, 7 wines, ongoing conversations with waiters and sommelier about each dish, where the ingredients...were sourced, preparations, and inspiration. Exactly how a high-end gastronomic experience should be conducted. The llum olive oil (prepared entirely in the dark) is a good interesting example. Highly recommended.More

We have an amazing dinner yesterday with my husband. This is the first time I’ve got this level of cuisine for a vegetarian (and lactose free) woman like me. I had the chance to live the same level of (2 stars) experience as my husband...did. I want to thank you the Chef, his entire team and the Staff for their skills, their kindness and humility. Opted for their Christmas lunch menu to celebrate the holiday. Truly enjoyed the experience and food. Loved the ambience, staff was amazing and food was absolutely delicious. Oysters and prawns, foie gras, guineafowl, lamb and black truffles... oh and dessert, never forget the dessert. Every...bite was a treat to the senses. We love dining at Michelin restaurants and Enoteca is very well deserving of their stars. Their Christmas menu consisted of 6 courses - smaller than 12-16 courses we’ve had but the portions are a little bit filling. Like with other gastronomy experiences, make sure you set at least 2.5 to truly enjoy the experience.More

I had much higher hopes for this restaurant. The wine pairings were mostly not great (but were odd) although it was clear they have an excellent cellar and I thought it was overrated and overpriced for what it was. I have no problems spending this...kind of money for a great meal but in comparison to other excellent restaurants in Barcelona, it fell short. A wonderful experience and ambiance thoughMore

I don't think so but if you go in a t-shirt and flip flops, you will feel out of place! When we went, a suit but no tie seemed fine.
